All things considered, that might have been the best playoff game of Steph's career. 43 efficient points against that defense with minimal help in a must-win game is no joke.

Funny that the broadcasters were fellating Kerr for having the courage (LOL) to pull Draymond rather than point out that Draymond forced Kerr to pull him because he was playing like dogshit

Insane.

The fans expect Steph to hit the shots that he does, so much of that allure has worn off.

But he is amazing. It’s truly not fair what he does on the basketball court.

It really was the stuff of legends. Michael Jordan retired like 2 decades ago and I still miss him, painfully. When Steph is gone I'm gonna miss him in the same way. There's just never been anyone like him.

Warriors likely going to need 2 more similar, if not better performances, if they are going to win this series.

Steph is amazing. The Timberwolves had the #5/#6 picks in the 2009 draft and picked two PG's before GS took Steph at #7. Never forget.

What's the list of teams that have played three 7-game series in a season? Won 3 7-game series? List of teams that have gone up a game 3 times in a series and lost the series? (All three possible for Celtics as of now.)

I’m just going to say it: I am ****ing sick of draymond

To borrow from John Oliver having draymond is like being in a plane and finding out mid-flight your pilot is a wombat. ‘I don’t like this, we’re probably all going to die, but come on Batsy PROVE ME WRONG!’

I think Celts are the better team overall, more 2way players, more ways to win, less weaknesses to exploit

but GS more experienced, homecourt and the clear best player

so at this point call it a tossup after adjusting for HCA

what does GS do going forward? the looney/green lineup is pretty gross offensively but those are clearly the Warriors 4th-5th best players vs the Celts to me.

You can only play so much Jordan Poole.

This is the strangest series in a long time in the sense that either team could claim they should have swept it by now

Celtics probably have been the more competent team, dubs have gone into the 4th with the lead in 3/4. Nothing about any of this so far makes any sense

I can’t imagine having money on either team to win this series and feeling confident unless you’re just a delusional idiot

For sure, but their strength and their speed are still based in a world that is built on rules. Because of that, they will never be as strong, or as fast, as Steph can be.

Not sure how you gather that, I'd say it's the opposite. Celtics have been so turnover prone (no I'm not looking at the numbers but it feels right). If C's get it together offensively and quit making dumbass mistakes where they just aimlessly drive to the goal and kick it right to a Warrior I'd be surprised if they lost.

I'll echo everyone's sentiments about how unbelievable Steph is, his size, and how much he can clearly dominate while on the court is incredible. That isn't even factoring in how little help he seems to have offensively. If he isn't shooting 3's, he's creating all of their offense by driving and causing havoc. I agree it was his best finals performance ever, and quite possibly up there as one of the better one's of all time given the circumstances. Klay hit some big shots, but his defense was terrific tonight, he bodied up on Tatum and Brown late in the game and made them kick it out a lot instead of getting to the hole...big ups to him for playing so well.

Draymond sucks. Dude had a ****ing layup on at least 3 occasions I can recall and passed it out or dumped it to an unexpecting Looney who mostly has hands of stone and is not a quick leaper. If I was Kerr I'd rip his ass while watching film. That was an embarrassing performance on his part.

It feels like Brown and Tatum wear down towards the end of these games. It felt like Smart kind of kept them alive there in the 4th but Curry was too much, maybe I'm misremembering. Does anybody have Sling? Holy Jesus that was barely watchable...worst streaming ever, and it happened on Wednesday too! **** them.

Oh yea, and Wiggins was very good. I've been so impressed with that dude. He's put any ego he had aside and is playing hard. That run down attempted block on Horford who had what seemed like an easy fastbreak dunk is such a little thing but I think Jackson commented on it. It just showed how he is playing with heart because he had to really come out of nowhere to just foul him. Maybe I'm weird, but it's things like that where you notice if a player is tuned in or not. He easily could have just let it go.

edit: 15 boards!

Windhorst saying on Lowe pod that R Williams tweaked his knee and asked to come out with 4 minutes left

Would think 2 days of treatment will have him right for gm 5 but man he's so essential vs GS

Here's a true story:

Story time with McMuffin:

Dell Curry told the Timberwolves DO NOT draft Steph. Dell also told the Warriors DO NOT draft Steph. Dell wanted him to go to the Knicks.

The Warriors, despite Dell/Steph not wanting to be there, decided to draft him anyway.

And the rest is history....

This is close to my top 5, too.

1. Lebron
2. Jordan
3. Steph
4. Shaq
5. Durant or Kareem

I think Shaq is criminally underrated. Kobe is as overrated as he is underrated.

I thought Wiggins was a losing player. I was wrong. He is clearly the Warriors second best player. I'm really impressed how fast and high he gets up on his second jump.

Turning Durant into leaving (which he very well could have been gone for nothing in return) for a S&T for D'Angelo Russell to turning him into Wiggins + the #2 overall pick to be back in the Finals in 2022 with Wiggins playing like a BALLER.

That's some sorcery type ****.

Warriors defense looked much better overall that game. Klay and Wiggins really did have amazing games on that side of the ball and it was nice to see from Klay as he use to be considered great on that side of the ball before the injuries. Sometimes he is a bit slow now but you can still see the signs of his great awareness on that end.

Hopefully Draymond gets back his confidence heading back home. Agree he looked like **** on both those road games and he turned into Ben Simmons late in this game passing on some of those inside looks. The Warriors need him to be able to rim run a bit more to take pressure off the other guys as currently it seems only Wiggins and Curry are capable of running at the rim.
