What an enormous cock tease of a year.
Oh well, they had not equity anyways.

Pels with Zion could be top4 in west next year imo.

Trigga Trae was so incredible last night. Heat have got to be nervous having to play him.

They were like 10th in Net Rating after getting CJ. 13-9 post all star. So a 50 win pace, although maybe a lot of tankers in there.
Still got all those Lakers and Bucks picks to wheel around and smooth out the edges.

Not sayin a lock, potential tho

Is Chris Paul the greatest player of his generation to have not won a title? I think it’s a pretty clear yes. Who would be #2 on that list currently?

Melo
LMA - dude made a lot more All NBA teams than I remembered

Harden, Westbrook, Lillaird kinda the next generation.

Nash/AI probably if you go the other direction on age.

Paul is probably rivaling guys like Malone, Barkley, and Baylor for greatest of all time to never title if he doesn’t get it done.

Elgin Baylor, greatest to never win an NBA Championship.
He led the Lakers to the NBA Finals eight times.

Zion looked really fat in that video but still really hoping the Pelican's yolo it and get him in at some point in the upcoming series. Why are they so worried about their future with Zion? It's quite possible he leaves them first chance he gets so just throw him out there even with limited minutes or with the second team if you think he might help your chances. He would certainly bring hype regardless of how he played and we haven't had a fat athletic freak like him since Shaq. Personally I'd and I'm sure many others would enjoy watching him throw himself around out there against the modern day NBA sized players at his current size even if just an experiment in physics.

I have him behind Malone and Barkley. Baylor never won an MVP, never won a scoring title or lead the league in any other major statistical category, and was the # 2 or 3 guy on most of those trips to the finals, in a time where the league averaged 10 teams, and no free agency made dynasties much easier to maintain.

How about greatest starting lineup to never play in the finals? Excluding current players.

PG: Nash
SG: Gervin
SF: Wilkins
PF: Webber
C: Yao

am I off anywhere?

Melo is not good. There's a reason none of his teams were ever good.

Melo is good but his game would have translated better if he started in the NBA maybe 5 years earlier. His game didn't transition well into the modern and changing NBA. I think Melo would have been an amazing asset to any team in the 90's or earlier.

He's overrated in that sense much like Westbrook, etc. Iverson probably would have been worth much less in the modern NBA. Who knows though really, but just put on some older NBA games and watch them and you will see that half of the players were allergic to the 3point line and often times it was who was the king of the mid range or who could create their own shots within that sort of range. Melo was a mid range warrior.

Ben Simmons just looked over at me and said — “Make sure you get this. Then dunked — and said “There you go.”
lolol, i gues this means he's playing, or is pretending to, but lol if he doesn't, or plays poorly

Mavs seem quite lucky to just be in the game, not looking good for them. Looks like they are playing right into Gobert's strengths as well

Please don't ruin your cap space on paying Brunson

Mavs should sign&trade Brunson for Julius Randle.

Win/Win trade imo.

tbh i don't have a great feel for that team, i don't pay close enough attention until the playoffs

they seem inconsistent, so kind of feeling embuust making a point of going off

beard should struggle unless the refs bail him out tho

and apparently the rapz are healthy rn, so no excuses
