He is an okay role player. The NBA moves quick. Lot of young thirsty men who have been playing basketball their whole life, who can jump higher, run faster and have better fundamentals on their jump shot. Check out guys like Jayson and Jaylen, they are consistent 20 point a night scorers this year. 3 and 4 years into the league. They are in better shape than all of the old "known player stars"

You'd think sixer fans wouldn't want to see webEmbiid getting in scraps since he has a glass skeleton but they are loving this. I guess that makes sense as Philadelphians are garbage people that take pride in being garbage people.

I'm a Sixer fan, not american tho, but like meh? Added a bit of spice to a blowout and some fun drama afterwards. Not much in it, a bit of cuddling and some lip service. Brings some anticipation for the game in Minny in march.

Elite interior defense. Had a bunch of quick passes leading to Woyas fouls.
He got screwed over by the Sixers. Came over when he could have waited one more year and got $15-$20 million more in guaranteed money.

I am really hoping he has a great year and gets paid. Seems like a nice guy and he is a top 10 WIM player in the league.

I’m here for Bron slander now but let’s not compare the two. Bron was drawing dead to title last year but at least the Lakers were a playoff team (I believe the 4 seed) and it was around Christmas when he got injured.

Steph got asked to carry the load for 4 games (3 of which the Warriors got down like 30 before halftime) and the team was historically terrible. They were going nowhere with Steph. Now they will truly be PUTRID. You absolutely hate to see that for Joe Lacob.

Amazing job by Lacob to get the new arena built and the PSLs and season tickets all sold just in time tho. Those tickets must have 10% of their original value now. Billionaires know how to do it.

I was there last night thanks to my buddy (front row seats FTW near the Wolves bench). Philly fans like people they can get behind and Embiid is a troll and a hypeman. I hope the Sixers don't pay for this **** with multiple game suspensions for multiple players. It'll be really annoying. Team looks good though. Shocked Ben got in there is scrapped. Wish I was closer to the ruckus and seeing KAT's mom flip Embiid off.

I'm sure there are some nice people but nuking Philly from orbit is the only way we can be sure. We will never forget your contributions to society. We never would have learned that you can put cheeze whiz on meat if it wasn't for y'all.

Any guesses as to what Embiid is talking about?

Curry's injury is probably the best thing that could have happened to the Warriors. D'Angelo experiment already was looking like a failure.

KD confirms that the heated exchange with Dray played a role in his decision to leave. Lol Dray, they most definitely do need him.

Any chance warriors use the curry injury and tank the season? Come back next year with a healthy curry, klay and top 3 pick? Might be hard to get Day Day to buy into tanking.

Dray isn't nearly as useful without real scorers around him. Whether he tanks or doesn't tank, he can't fill an offensive void.

Any Suns fan could have told you that having two starting guards who can’t defend isn’t going to work out very well.

1. I don't ever think the players are asked to tank and so whether or not they buy into something they don't participate in is negligible

2. from my understanding, tanking comes in the form of minute distributions, players with minor scrapes being held out as if they were major injuries, etc

a few years back i read an article about it and one guy wrote that the tanking was highly advanced, how a team always knew what were the optimal lineups and would often puprosefully go in the opposite direction - ie player x is horrible against the pick and roll so he always gets extra minutes when a pick and roll duo is on the floor, player y is really bad offensively with some players but works very well with others, well he's only going to see time with the guys he's incompatible with etc

3. this is all a moot point though, the warriors will likely be pretty bad regardless of whether or not they try to be without curry
