Not really trying to hold his lack of team success at 19-21 against him but we don't have much else non-Bron data to go by obviously.
I think TZ is decidely more pro-Bron than the general public. Kyrie gets a ton of credit for that series, it was the shot heard round the world. Hell half the sports world hates LeBron so propping up Kyrie is basically a prerequisite.
The only credit I've really seen Kyrie get is for the biggest shot of the series.
Ask a random and no one would mention anything about him other than that. People will just talk about LeBron.
Even the pro-Jordan guys just bring up that shot. I'd be surprised that a random would know the type of numbers he had in the final 3 games (even mj supporter).
Your comment about the MJ crowd bringing up Kyrie is two-sided. As you mentioned the board is pro-LeBron, so downplaying how good Kyrie is also basically a prerequisite.
