Sure, like running an offense. The Pacers have none. They run the PnR and Iso over and over and over. The Pacers consistently have a middle-of-the-road offense which, given their roster even with Vic out, is a joke.
He doesn't understand modern NBA basketball as illustrated by our 3pt attempts/game:
2016-2017: 27th
2017-2018: 26th
2018-2019: 28th
despite having Bojan (42.2% from 3), DC (41.5% from 3), Myles (40.8% from 3), and Doug McDermott who was brought in specifically to shoot 3s, as it's his only skill, (39.9% from 3) shooting only 2.9 att/game.
He just doesn't understand how to run an modern NBA offense.

We have close to the best defence in the league with only 2-3 (4 with Dipo) positive defenders, and a fair few who used to be complete sieves. We have signing after signing after signing suddenly having career years when they join Indiana. Everyone goes on about the fantastic culture we have. He's doing insanely well with a very very thin list.
He's no Pop, but he's well above avg imo
That's Dan Burke. Do you think it's a coincidence that Burke has been an assistant for Indy for 19 years, and that regardless of our Head Coach, we're almost always in the top 10 of the NBA in Opp. FG%? (13 of the past 17 seasons).
Burke is our defensive specialist. He gets repeatedly credited by the FO and coaches as the man behind the curtain regarding the Pacers consistent success.
KP build a ridiculously deep team that isn't truly a contender but has the offensive firepower to compete with anyone outside of GS and MIL. Instead, they have the same great defense that basically every Indiana team has every year and an offense consisting of long 2s and little else.
The Pacers are 30-9 against teams below .500 and 11-13 against teams above. They're paper tigers who were struggling with legit teams even before Vic went down. They can beat crappy teams because they're so deep and talented, but when the time comes to step up and match up against TOR or MIL, they get out coached every time out.
