Yeah but isn't Roco back soon? I think he's an elite role-player and a top 30ish player overall.
One thing Minny really has going for them is that their nightmarish schedule includes three really tough games at the end against teams who are quite likely to be resting:
OKC - Could be locked into #3
TOR - Will probably be locked into #2
@DEN - Will probably be locked in
Those are 3 of the top 5 teams by record. All the sudden their ridiculous schedule doesn't look all that bad. Contrast that with the Lakers, who are basically playing teams that should be fighting right until the bitter end.
They are currently ahead of Sac for the tiebreaker w/conference record, and have good chance to get it vs the Clipse with a deciding game vs. them in their building where they have been good.
I think I'd handicap it:
SAS
gap
Clipse
Kings/Wolves
Lakers
