If you can win the playoff last longer by only having the Clippers even make the playoffs, the chances of the Lakers missing the playoffs should make that a good bet if you are sufficiently low on them (and accurate in your lowness).

I think that would suffice too but that would also get me the reg season win total. I'm gonna GAMBOOOL

Not only share the floor but are the primary cogs in maybe the best bench in the NBA. It’s crazy time. I still remember when Harris was a rookie+ and Avery Johnson would scream at him the entire game.

I’m obv mavs homer but that Carlisle guy is ok coach.

I have an idea for a Sober Drinking Game for those who struggle with over indulging. You can only drink when Frank makes a Fg.

Everything he does is with a highlight in mind, like that no look pop to Rudy that went off the backboard, nothing is ever simple.
That was a bad pass and there was no reason to no-look it other than Donovan was in the groove and in full 'wink at the announcers after making a shot' mode. But i will say that Gobert does that to his guards a lot where he's just not ready for the lob or is on the wrong foot and he just watches the lob sail over his head while the guard looks stupid. He does it to Ricky all the friggin' time. Raul Neto missed the first 15 games with a hamstring. First game back he turns the corner and draws the big, then throws a perfect lob to Gobert who wasn't expecting it and just watches as it sails over his head, bounces on the floor, and is picked up by the other team. Announcers are just like 'a little bit rusty there for Raul'. It was perfect!

Something I've been wondering about... Is Quin actually a good coach?

Seems like they haven't developed one young player outside of Rudy (Mitchell tbd).

The weird thing is all of their draft picks have had like one good year and then get worse at the ages where they are supposed to be getting better. Kanter and Hood are recent examples that were all over the place from season to season as youngs and appear to have gotten much better once out of Utah.
All of Burke/Burks/Exum/Lyles had promising young years followed by one or more disappointing ones.

Maybe I'm spoiled because all of Malone's youngs seem to get better year over year, but it seems odd how Utah's young players are all over the map.

[edit] I forgot Rubio, who he seems to have ruined after having his two best seasons.... Maybe he hit his decline early but it sure looks like they are completely mis-using him.

Dood is making sure to get plenty of jazz slander in while they’re sucking

I think that those guys were more bad draft picks than anything. Is there a different skill set to developing an old like jingles than the burkses? Probably not

Mitchell just can't come to grips with the fact he's not a "star player" and know his role. Hopefully he figures it out and stops totally chucking (he'll still shoot too much) and they can get back to the offense they had last year. Jazz were fun to watch when clicking.

Our bench has been beyond amazing. Our starters +- is not good at all, one of the worst in the league, probably because doncic and dsj don’t pair well together. But the bench has been beyond amazing. They just run everyone off the floor.

I’m actually worried about dirk coming back because Kleber has been such a big part of the bench unit. The Powell Kleber combo is great, and Kleber’s defense is awesome. He has 1-2 highlight blocks a game. If we go from Kleber’s defense to Dirk’s defense, the bench unit may not be so great anymore.

But dirk is the goat so he can do what he wants.

Sure looks like it. What I've noticed is that teams are now giving him the mid-range ftmp, and even though it's a poor-quality shot he just won't turn it down. He's basically taken a chunk of his at-rim finishes and turned them into 3-10foot floaters, where he's shot <35% this year.

Last year he was slightly inefficient with the shot-profile of a role player, this year he's taking more superstar-range shots, and his efficiency has gotten a good bit worse.
