The problem on offense for them is that players are shooting way worse than last year on the same shots. If Lindsay concluded that those players were just running hot last year he should have recalibrated his expectations accordingly and realized his team is probably good for 40-45 wins with their defense being the way it is, and if that's the case don't give up any future equity because you'll need it.

If he concluded that they are just running bad then wait and allow regression to kick in, don't waste future value on a guy because you can't wait for the shots to start falling.

It seems awfully desperate... I liken it to trading a lottery pick for a decent PG on an expiring deal because you messed up drafting PGs forever.

He was on and won them the game so i didn't have any problem with it. Just thought it was noteworthy that on 8 consecutive possessions he didn't even throw an inbound pass or pass in the backcourt or anything. 8 straight possessions of dribbling the whole possession then shooting.
