Nurk's gotta be close, he's quietly been awesome. Also I kinda feel like Mudiay's start has been impressive considering where he was prior.

Ma$on Plumlee doesn't play a ton of minutes, but he and Denver's bench have been straight fire.

That's the best part!! His contract WAS ending this year, but they decided to extend him until 2021, because when you have a chance to lock up a replacement level coach, you can literally do it or don't and on average it will make no difference...

We're so ****ed. The Pacers have a lot of talent. Vic s a stud, Myles is player better than his numbers show (does work on box outs and on defense and is still only 22), Domas is like a younger, slightly less GOAT version of his father. GM Kevin Pritchard has and continues to do great work in assembling a roster. They will never excell as long as Nate is their coach though. Not going to happen.

TJ Warren has 31 made threes. More than he’s ever had in a season.

He’s a career 28.3% three point shooter coming into this year.

He’s shooting 47% this year from deep.

Covington made numerous little winning plays when I watched today:

Contesting balls going out of bounds, asking for (and receiving) the foul that should've been KAT's 6th, 5 steals, and got the game-clinching back cut (took it from a 6 point game to 8 w/ ~1min to go).

Could really see his impact throughout the game despite only ending with 7 points.

D-Rose is the most amazing thing for me, he was dead mentally and physically for 7 straight years. His game was 100% on his physical ability and him being fearless to drive into whoever was standing in the paint. He could never hit a 3 and now he's back to being a positive player who can shoot ?

That's some Livingston/Grant Hill level of resurrection

So Denver is 3rd in SRS with the following shooting from 3PT

Jokic - 35% (40% last year)
Harris - 32% (40 and 42% last two seasons)
Murray - 31% (38% last year)
Lyles - 23% (38% last year)

Nobody else on their team is shooting lights out, maybe Juancho at 44% but he's a flamethrower.

If they can figure out their shooting it could be a special year.

Favors+Gobert has played 183 minutes in 18 games. Net rating -5.8. Everyone sucks playing with Favors.

Gobert plus
Rubio: +2.8
Mitchell: +2.6
Ingles: +4.0
Crowder: +5.5

Favors plus
Rubio: -5.6
Mitchell: -4.0
Ingles: -6.2
Crowder: -6.6

So every starter is negative playing with Favors and every starter except Favors is positive playing with Gobert. Favors sucks and the Jazz gave him $18M because he played Carmelo Anthony to a draw in a playoff series. I'd rather have Jerebko than Favors and Favors costs 5x more.
