Blows my damn mind that not a single prominent person in the national media/blogosphere/podcast etc criticizes Brooks, ever. The closest was Zach Lowe criticizing him for not always having one of Russell or Katie on the floor, but even then he was careful to point out star players are unique and get weird about rotations, and Brooks' real strength is keeping his guys happy.

Well, he's presided over a total cancer of a locker room for 2 years now. So what exactly does he bring to the table?

Kemba's run through the Big East tourney then the NCAA tourney was awesome.

Kemba to the Knicks to once again rule MSG this summer would be nice. If he's going to waste his career with a trash franchise he may as well do it close to home.

Damn, that would've been a crap beat.

Hawks were getting 7 points and cruising. Clippers finally bench Bradley for the whole 4th and win it 38-23 and the game, by 8.

Man the league would be so freaking incredible if only KD was on some other team.

Feels like there are 15 teams that all pretty close but the Warriors are just that next step above them.

Man Wizards have a lot of future guaranteed money for a 5-11 team lol. One of the ugliest future cap sheets I've seen. Wall 46M player option in 22-23 lolol.

Surely they have to start jettisoning soon? Is Otto Porter considered much of an asset on his ~27M/y contract? I'd like him for Indiana if they wanna just offload him for expirings, he's probably a little overpaid but can't imagine we'd do much better in FA and the 3 is the biggest need.

Whenever you get a chance to lock up the 30th best player (probably very generous) in the league at 40% of the cap, you gotta do it.

My Rubio balled out. 28 points on 13 shots and 4 free throws. +1 in a game the Jazz lost by 27.

Wizards need to unload the team and tank, get what you can for Beal and unload the Wall contract if possible. Blow it up and start from scratch, keep Brooks and Howard to enhance tanking effort.

Edit: I should also mention that it is too bad that it came to this, this team actually has some good pieces and was looking to be a really exciting club just a season or 2 ago. They just habitually underperform and don't seem to work well together.

The Wall contract has a 15% trade kicker too. It's as unmovable as it gets. But yes, should move the other two for whatever they can get (Beal could probably net some assets back, Porter they should just be happy for a team to take it I reckon).

Aaron Holliday is apparently Steph Curry v2.0. Pacers just beat the Jazz by 27 without Vic playing

James’ close friend, Randy Mims, and bodyguard Rob Brown came to him with their phones to show him the news. James, who was still signing jerseys, dropped the pen and slumped in his chair. …

James suggested he didn’t feel he was lied to by Altman, so much as Altman was overruled by owner Dan Gilbert.

“You realize at that point in time, take nothing from Koby, because Koby (was just named GM), but at that point in time, you realize that Koby’s not the only one running the team, as (former GM David Griffin) had done, and that’s why Griff was let go pretty much,” James said.
