This is quite possible.

A player only has so much clutch in him.

Thunder could be in trouble. They've lost 4 of 5 which include home losses to Denver sans Garris and Portland, and their upcoming schedule is:

@NOP
GSW (KD/Dray/Klay should all be back)
@HOU
@MIA
MEM

I could see 2-3 or 1-4 during the stretch, meaning Denver would have to go 5-1 or 4-2 to overtake them and their schedule is:

MIL
IND
MIN
@LAC
POR
@MIN

A bunch of tough teams, but 4 home games where they have been awesome. Unfortunately they'll have to do it sans Gary Harris for at least the next three games.... but it's doable.

Minny could also be resting the last game if they have some separation in the standings.

There’s just something wrong with Durant. Think all the hate he got going to GSW broke him. He’s humorless and an awful interview. eFG% is not “analytics” it’s basic math.

His takes are completely ignorant as he clearly knows nothing about analytics yet mocks basketball nerds for “not watching games.” Lol, all basketball nerds do is watch games. Even wannabe quants like Duncan/LeRoux prob watch like 25 hours a week of basketball. It’s their job.

KD is whack.

There are the assani's of the world, tbf.

Overall he's railing against the culture he feels doesn't embrace him. He's actually turning his back on those that too tho, it's the Hot Take artists and casual fans that he'll never please.

Sounds like he was parroting Barkley, maybe he's trying to earn his love.

The takes were pretty unanimous that he was boring and a dead fish when he went on Simmons' HBO show too. That was before the move to GS.

There's never been much there there.

Towns digging deep and coming up with heroic efforts to scrape out wins vs Atlanta and Dallas. Not exactly a good sign but i'll take it.

That's Towns channeling his alter ego: Karlito!

If not for Curry, Warriors mental health would be completely in the toilet

Remember when KD got his own doc on HBO just filming him and his behds? My god it was unbelievably boring.

I think he constantly wonders, “why don’t they love me like Bron?” He’s just so hateable at this point and embracing it is a terrible look

Durant hating analytics is obv v strange. Especially because I remember him having his own personal coach / analytics guy like 8 years ago before it was cool. I think he’s just mad at public perception in general

does seem like maybe durantula has gone too far up his own ass. i liked all the other KD interviews but this one was plain bad. like he was trying to be controversial on purpose and also didn't say anything valuable/new/insightful really.

like rococo said, if not for curry (and i think to a lesser extent, klay) warriors would be in meltdown mode.

having said that, i do look forward to the WOYAZ gaping and proving all the haters/doubters/non-ball-watching blog boyz WRONG
