rubio is a good floor general but he def should be ceding the floor to the jazz youngs mostly - his role this year is probably about what it should be on balance imo

I would love to see the Jazz face off the Warriors in round 1.

NBA gods, make it so.

Will the rising stars game and the all-star game be the first back to back he's ever played?

he just played friday and saturday last week for the first time. team really sucked on saturday though including embiid. embiid scored more points in the 2nd game and struggled with TOV and had a -20 +/-. team almost blew a 30 point lead in the 4q to the lead to the heat.

Probably the 3rd season in 4 year the Jazz will miss the playoff because of Gobert's 20 missed games. Even when he's not playing at his level, like this season, the impact on the W is so huge

I'm still rooting for a Doncic miracle with the 14th worst record

Would accept Doncic to Hawks, could see me becoming a fan of a Doncic-John Collins duo,
Also Doncic to Knicks because Frank+Doncic is the perfect set-up frank defending the 1, attacking as a 2, both players in their perfect role

don't like him in any other lottery team

Frank is a 1 in attack.

It's taken you from October to the start of February for you to surrender on that. That's pretty damn quick even for a Frenchman.

the perfect role for frank right now is on the bench

most NBA ready prospect though

eh. .. plucky little Belgium appears.

strange you couldn't give me a free hand to troall Guivre a little , but w/e.

you're wrong, ldo. but we'll get to that once Hornaceck is sacked.
Spoiler:
clue: Knicks best 2-man team is still KP & Frank despite the coach contriving to hardly play them together ... yada yada sample size yada yada

Not that it matters much because these games will be low intensity and he'll prob play not many minutes in both but they're not back to back games. Rising Stars game is on the Friday and the All Star game is on Sunday.

He's also in the skills challenge on Saturday.

Ricky Rubio is 27 years old, how are you so bad at NBAing?

Ainge + Brad > Buford + Pop every day of the week.

Maybe going forward but right now, Pop has 5 titles with a small market franchise in 20 seasons. Brad has 1 ECF appearance in 3 seasons. Pop definitely ran hot early with inheriting Robinson, drafting Duncan, Parker and Manu and trading up for Kawhi. Celtics are obviously in a great spot going forward but still have to deal with GSW for the next few years as well as Houston, Spurs, Cleveland and eventually Philly in the East as well as a very solid Toronto team.

Eye test thoughts on Monroe: Should be a legit NBA rotation player - if he wants to be. Relatively strong low post game. Plus passing skills - which is important for high-post bigs in Boston's sets. Can not stretch the floor. Can be a reasonable rebounder. Has never committed to playing hard defense. Stevens/Ainge are going to expect/demand that he plays on both ends.

Monroe has some weaknesses in the modern game(Not tall enough to be that poor at outside shooting) but overall he's both solid on defense and skilled offensively.

I think people are overrating what he looks like when criticizing his defense, he'll never be great above the rim but he gives good effort and has good movement.

It's so much less fun when the Cavs don't get smoked. Man the Magic are bad and going nowhere.

I mean if you've seen Heinsohn in the last...decade he's probably running pretty bad to not have one already.

Tommy's 83, it won't (shouldn't) be long.
