Someone should invent a cryptocurrency that lets you invest in Lonzo, gold, and Ron Paul all at the same time

Nurkic and Plumlee are both quality backup centers
since Nurk is a starting center and plumlee isn't a quality back up.

Makes sense, last time he lost a few hundred million when Bron left. Looks more and more likely Bron is gone and without Bron the team is crap and Gilbert knows it. Pretty sure the future owners will know it.

Portland with 97 points through 3 quarters.

Some of Boogie getting ****ed is the refs hate him but some of it is just they simply don't officiate the game the same way for bigs as they do for perimeter players. Why LeBron doesn't post up nearly as much as he could as well.

I read somewhere that Portland has played a little less than half their games against teams missing one of their top 2 players.... if true that's nuts.

**** Nurk

Does this mean that Portland's record is inflated, and should be far worse than it is? If so, it seems like they wouldn't be a playoff team if not for that situation.

Even with Bron gone, he can probably still cash out pretty good I'd think. With what NBA teams are going for these days. Just loses the cherry on top.

No clue how Cleveland fans feel about him but I'd think he is a legend for life for bringing a title to Cleveland. Even if the rest of the country sees him as a mortgage huckster wannabe slavemaster jackass.

Possibly, but they went through a stretch sans Dame so maybe it's accurate? Just looking a their recent games I only saw two that are of note in the last ten, last night against Minny missing Butler and a home game (1 point win) against SAS missing Green/Kiwi.. My guess is the writer has taken some leeway calling guys like Millsap their second-best player, which is probably true but still.

**** Nurk
I went through their wins and they werent all that impacted by injuries.

Beat Washington without Wall
Beat Indiana without Turner, twice
And last night, Minnesota without Butler
If you really stretch it, they beat:
Brooklyn without Russell (who cares)
L.A. without Lopez (meh)
San Antonio without Leonard and Memphis without Conley (no duh, theyve missed a million games)
Phoenix without Bledsoe (while he was still a Sun)
Orlando without Fournier
Miami without Whiteside

Good work.

Even with that list, that's 4-10 wins with asterisks. If you assume that they win half and lose half of the first 4 you listed, and win two-thirds and lose one-third of the next 6 stretch games you listed, then that's 4 more wins that they got that they "shouldn't" have, and 4 more losses that they should have.

Which would bring their current 26-22 record down to 22-26, which would be out of the playoffs.
