Was that me? I thought I said they were a dog to get out of the first round in 2013, and they didn't. I may have given it more years though.

I was definitely wrong about their ceiling though, only by like infiniti.

Jokic looks like he fits that profile: smart (uses angles/awareness to make up for athletic deficiencies), eats D-glass, big bowl of immovable oatmeal near rim.

His per100 defense is 5 points better than Denver’s team DRTG. I suspect Millsap had some hard to discern effect on Jokic’s DRPM—will be interesting to see how far the team Defense (and, Jokic’s) falls in his absence.

I think a lot of it is noise, but Millsap on Jokic off is giving up 117PP100. I thought Gasol was always a bit overrated as a defender as well but who knows. We will find out how good he is soon enough with Millsap out

BTW I'll take bets if anyone wants to give me evens on Denver making the playoffs.

I agree with a lot of dood's criticism's about Nurk, you'll notice I don't really push back on him being whiny or immature because if you can't see that I don't know what to tell you. Anyway, Dame is pretty goddamn mature for his age and if Nurk can get set straight anywhere I don't see where would really be much better.

While that's very true and he used Simmons terribly, Blakeney (guessing him getting hot right now prompted what you said)/Quarterman being ball hogging chuckers was a pretty big contributing factor too. Which I guess goes back to Johnny Jones, too
