Haven't put much thought in to it but gut says Heat/Raps will go off pretty damn near pickem

esp if Miami sweeps and Tor goes 6 or obv 7

If Miami rolls both games in CHA and Tor struggles I could even see Mia a few cents favorite

I'm not crazy on Horford and I find it a little hard to believe Durant really cares about teaming up with him. It's Al Horford.

i think plenty of nba people are smart enough to see why horford is a good player - imo he's the kind of player you can really say makes his teammates better because he's such a jack of all trades who ticks pretty much every important box you'd want out of a second or third star

it's not often you see a player get so badly owned by one guy as derozan has been by george. confirmed fraud
04-23-2016 , 09:05 PM
jack of all trades master of none tho, that's why people don't get excited over him

he's def the kind of guy that someone who dominates the ball would want to play with, basically what Bosh reluctantly turned into

Horford is one of the best mid range shooters in basketball and keeps showing improved range. Def a master of that

All ownage shall be judged by Nets Kenyon Martin disappearing Antoine Walker.

Shimmy Blackjack has always been my fraudulence comp for DDR.

Wall/Lowry ownage last year was pretty bad, but Lowry had elbow or knee or tummy ache issues so gotta consider that.

rank the 2nd through 5th best backcourts in the NBA, next 5 years.

kanter has been like so all year but now that people are actually watching OKC play, when is 2p2 going to admit that they were wrong about kanter? without getting into the nitty gritty, can y'all finally say that he is a + player...

Being a huge negative on defense as a center is a really big deal

no idea about through the next 5 years. if predictions have shown anything, its that year to year things arent super volatile, but the entire landscape dramatically changes in like 3 years.

anyway, obviously curry/klay is the best. curry is a transcendent player who is on the path to be the BEST player ever; already he's like a top-25 player. PG wise he's the favorite to be the best ever (better than Stockton, CP3, and Magic... Probably already is) whereas Klay is a legit all star and a top 5 SG in today's league. (Top 3?)

So let's not discuss them.

The candidates...

Rustle and Harden don't have complimentary SG or PG, respectively, to be included. So they are not.

CP3/Reddick. Reddick really was amazing this season and has been a solid pro for a while. He's a threat for a very strong playoff team; his 3pt shooting is outstanding and the other facets of his game have gotten better. CP3 is perhaps on the downcurve, but oh boy he's still so good. People take him for granted, but he piloted the 55 win Clippers or however many games they won this season.

Lowry/DeRozan. This is the duo that actually combined for the most winshares (outside of the Top 1). They have led a very WILful Casey team to become a 2nd tier Eastern "contender". Not scary, although Lowry had his best season and DeRozan is in his prime.

DAME/CJ Mac. My easy pick for #2; CJ was MIP and obviously very good, while young, and DAME is the closest replica in the league to Curry. They led a very surprising, somewhat talent-poor Portland to the playoffs. IMO even better than the Clips!

Wall/Beal. The only thing Beal has managed to do is get hurt every single year. His reputation is faaaaaaaaaaaar better than his actual abilities, which I've said for like 5 years. John Wall is super good though so I guess they slip in on this list.

What other backcourt pairings are there, really? Lil Zeke and ... Marcus Smart? Uh no. Jimmy Buckets and, lol, DLOSE? Hell ****ing no. RJaxx and KCP in Detroit? Yeah, they're promising and decent but nothing particularly special. That's all I can really think of.

I rank GSW 1st by a fair amount, obv. I think WAS is 5th, but they are > 6th by a fair amount too..

In the middle I go:
POR, then LAC, then TOR

lol cmon now.

Bledsoe and booker being on that list in 3-5 years isn't ridiculous at all
04-24-2016 , 10:41 AM
In no order

Klay/steph
Harden/anyone
Dame/cj
Rustle/anyone
Cp/reddick
Lowry/DeRozan
Bledsoe/booker
Wall/beal
04-24-2016 , 11:10 AM
Yeah Anyone/Harden and Russ/Anyone seem to be underrated. Certainly would take them over Wall/Beal, Lowry/DeRozan, and Bledsoe/Booker. CP3/Redick is hard because Redick probably won't be that good much longer.

I think wherever Butler goes could be on that list as well.

But yeah most of these back courts are pretty terrible, harden/Westbrook anyone has to be considered. Harden/Beverly is pretty awesome imo.
04-24-2016 , 01:40 PM
yeah the bucks prob literally never run giannis and middleton at the 1 and 2 but. you know. they could
