It wasn't even a knock on curry but making up that he's 1st is some slurping I'm not even sure you could claim
I think you under rate how much I can slurp. I just finished this video in awe:

All of currys shots from 28-50 feet, in which he is 35-52. Tut was right when he said curry is significantly better than jordan ever was.

Cool story bro!

The vapid hyperbolicity that continues until time immemorial.

Grunching so maybe this has been covered. SI had an article on best team of all time. Interesting team construction thought exercise.

Jordan
Curry
Labron
Shack
Timmay
Bird

all seem like locks. The last four spots seem tougher.
02-27-2016 , 12:01 PM
Durant
Pippen
CP3
KG
02-27-2016 , 01:13 PM
I wish I was 1/100th as good at anything in my life as Steph is at shooting

If bird is a lock, then magic probably is on the team.

you just want as many versatile guys as possible. kawhi/pippen/durant/KG

you might not need a second pg but if you did cp3 is a fine pick since he can shoot
02-27-2016 , 01:56 PM
Don't see why Bird is a lock at all.
02-27-2016 , 02:03 PM
Elite shooter. Good enough D. can play inside and outside. Bird is > Magic anyways but esp in today's game.

So much wanting. I just don't get it. 4 time mvp. 2 titles and finals MVPs. Sorry bruh, that's winning. Proly should learn to deal with it.

The Heat wouldn't even title this season if everyone on their roster played at their peak which was like 10 years ago
02-27-2016 , 02:18 PM
I sure wish they would let Isiah Thomas coach again so that he could expose the worst perimeter defense of all time. I bet that would be a real treat.

Kind of like how Kyrie is just a little better than Waiters?

He can dribble and score occasionally, he cannot be the 2nd best player on the championship team. He is a poor mans Dame Lillard.
kyrie is an elite shot creator, elite at the rim, and a great 3pt shooter. mebbe hes a little rusty now from the injury, but hes looked pretty good to me. and last year he was easily a top 10 nbaer. this hate seems strange. mebbe you just saw him on one of his bad nights.

ultimately, he has a ton of upside and you need guys like that to title. even if you think he is cancerous and hurts the team on the whole, he still has such high potential to completely take over and put up all time great performances, that you gotta prefer him to more consistent players.

hadn't realized kareem also threw his hat on the ring wrt curry. beyond the general overstating of past era defense, it's esp lol that these guys think the physicality of defense was the only thing preventing people from taking/making shots from that distance. rather than, you know-- no one being able to make those shots

i suppose it is a natural extension of the arguments people made against someone like lebron (as recently as 3-4 years ago). "wouldn't be able to get to the rim as easily." i guess the moral of the story here is that no perimeter player who came after kobe could have scored as efficiently back then
02-27-2016 , 03:34 PM
Why didn't CLE do something smart like trade Kyrie, Jefferson, Sasha Kaun, for Conley, Courtney Lee, Chalmers and Tony Allen?

irving is supremely skilled, don't think anyone questions that. and not in the way that like jamal crawford is "skilled," but skilled in a productive way. however, his skill set doesn't seem to translate fully-- even pre-injury imo. i guess using "fully" begs the question, but even considering injury rust it's pretty surprising that we could ever be in a position where the cavs offense looks better with delly than irving. that's not to say they should bench irving or something, but it speaks to some of his flaws

also, i think irving was in the low to mid teens last year

I like to lolakers with the best of them but man can I not wait until I never have to see Kobe on a basketball court again. What a total embarrassment this season is

Just chalk this up to old men yelling at clouds and playing out there insecurities. I know it doesn't rile you up because it's so LOL, but the media seems to be all over this.

For once I actually agree with Skip who's saying Curry is better now than anyone has ever been. It pains me to say it, but you can't run from the truth.

Oscar always been salty. I remember interviews he did in the 90s where he said Jordan couldn't stop him and daid he could guard anyone.
