mjw added me as contributor, but we could probably use a few more. This could be one of the cooler resources TZ has ever had. Three tabs basically

Game Day tab for the Game Thread to go back to specific in game discussions
TZ tab to highlight conversations, posts, meltdowns, arguments, etc

Notable Performances thread to post the sickest lines of the year

Who else would want to help maintain?

Is this something that could go in the OP of both threads?
we should brainstorm what else would be useful in that file.

* Keep track of TZ bets?
* Could keep track of which days had the most gameday thread posts with a simple calculation, might be interesting (e.g. Last night's game was the #3 post volume of the year after Love punched Lebron in his smug face!)
* There could be an additional tab (or merged with notable performances) for notable league news like trades, injuries, milestones, etc. Something more than just box-scores.

I'd be interested in helping out if the creator wanted some extra hands putting it together.

PM your e-mail i'll make you a collaborator

Trades/injuries/etc should def go on the Notable Performances tab

Should just be Notable Events

I think bets would be kinda cool. I'm in to help but my availability ranges from non existent to always on pretty sporadically.

Any major high-quality discussion that happens should go in a TZ discussions tab with short description and starting post #
10-29-2014 , 04:56 PM
There's a whole tab for that
10-29-2014 , 04:57 PM
Just waiting on the good discussions

I got Kevin Love as a top 5 player.

Yes, there is.

Fantasy discussion in TZ is grounds for banning

Especially posting 20 rounds worth of picks lol
10-29-2014 , 05:05 PM
Spreadsheet is taking great form, amazing idea by mjw

Now we'll have a place to go find in thread meltdowns, Jimmy Butler Top x claims, top performances, elite posts, and not so elite posts
10-29-2014 , 05:07 PM
Yeah, I reformatted it a bit and added some youtube links for significant events.

If there's anything from TZ (arguments, great posts, lol moments, etc) you guys want to see documented in the Almanac, just post it and I'm sure somebody will be around to add it in.

I'm not sure if we should create a tab for the Denver Nuggets as a team, or individual tabs for all their players.

It's absolutely coaching/system related, but Wall still settles A LOT in spots where he could attack a big with quickness.

I'll take Hawks more wins than Heat for 50

But that's no reason, obviously, for Wall to take that misguided pull-up with 15 seconds left on the shot clock.

imo Wall still has room to improve his skills off the dribble as well. I don't think he's mastered some of the slight hesitation and change-of-direction moves other PGs like Paul, Teague, and Conley use to create space in tight areas, and he can get stuck in no-man's land driving.
Could not agree more. And lacking this skills is why playing like a "crafty vet" isn't his best look.

That guy seems like he means well, but yeah, I'd really hate for fantasy discussion to fill up this thread.

I'll also take some action on Hawks more wins than Heat

JAAASH your hot takes are cooling off

Do you think he actually plays like a crafty vet, though? It's semantic, but it seems like the issue is more "settling for lots of midrangers" than attempting to be overly intricate in those midrange positions. And it seems like we agree he needs to be more measured and patient with the ball in his hands.

Anyone else not feeling the Bulls hype? I don't think they will be near as good as the media projects. Also, +1 to the general feeling on here that Atlanta is criminally underrated
