Sure but if you are criticising someone for shooting poorly ,you need to have a sample size that is meaningful.

No, like Harden. Which is why they will never ship. Gotta pay to win!

Bulls gonna be forever capped out because of D-Lose and won't go over it.

Jackson and Adams will leave.

Curry ****s on Westbrook, but Westbrook plays plo and dresses like he's going to fashion week so he's obviously goat omg

the thing is, my opinion on mcdermott was formed based on a sample size of 4 full years of college play. his poor performance so far is just helping confirm the previously held theory that he would not be a particularly good NBA player.

College game/=nba game.

Was dougie considered a top 5 can't miss prospect? Adjust your expectations accordingly

Doug sucks and will always suck. He can be completely written off and never needs to be discussed again.

The reason he's shook isn't because he's a rookie, it's because he's completely overwhelmed athletically.
12-17-2014 , 05:19 PM
Dougie can dunk, he's not really hurt by not being able to run fast or jump, it's airballing open 3s that has hurt him the most. He dominated summer league against nba scrubs and fellow rookies so not sure he was so athletically challenged against fringe nba competition. Thibodeau lobbied hard for Doug after he scrimmaged with team USA, but I guess a dude on the net with a five figure post count knows more about basketball than an nba lifer. Point taken.

Isaiah Thomas is an NBA lifer. Look at his list of best PGs.

He was a guy your team deemed worth trading 2 1sts to trade up for. Those are his expectations.

I agree the Bulls have a pretty solid draft track record.

You post in this thread a lot and you're a Bulls fan and you don't know about how terrible your trade for Dougie was and how his expectations except for a few talking heads was a total bust?
12-17-2014 , 05:31 PM
Damn Ougie is 24/26 in PER for rookies and he's an offensively minded player, what a total joke.
12-17-2014 , 05:33 PM
The Bulls track record is good because they go after players who will be a bit older when they enter the league, and therefore are more likely to contribute right away. I think it's not only a viable strategy, but the best one for a team who is good and will typically be picking I'm the late stages. More "good" teams should be willing to employ this strat imo.

Trading a high 20s and early teens pick isn't the same as trading say a 7&11 to move up to 5, it's really not. All that is expected from Doug is to not embarrass himself on defense and hit open 3s, he's not hitting open 3s and is now injured. what little run he did get initially was halved after failing to knock down open shots and he's been injured for the past week. He's literally less than two months into his pro career, you can go the hyperbole route and call him the bust of the century but cooler heads and smarter minds know better.

Hopefully the Hawks pick him up

I'd rather have Dame than Kyrie. Isiah is just a flat-out moron, I thought that's been known for years.
12-17-2014 , 07:04 PM
u prob would rather have dame than steph and rustle too so your opinion is also invalid . i mean IT seems like the type of dude who prob had rondo as number 1 pg.

Pretty obvious I'm a full-on Dame nut hugger, but come on now.

Thinking of summer league earlier, does the top half of summer league teams handle the best college squad handily?
