per 82 games, he's actually shooting more jump shots and fewer inside shots, he's just making more jumpshots (.500 vs. .423) and finishing a LOT better at the rim this year than last (.710 this year vs. .550 last). Obviously some improvement is possible given his age and expanded role, but yeah, I'd expect his shooting to drop off, as that's like Lebron level finishing at the rim.

To add on to what people said about Holiday on the last page, which I agree with, my eyetest is that he's just not a very gifted natural passer. Davis is constantly popping open briefly and almost never getting found with anything except the most basic/obvious entry passes. Dunks, but also everything in the post.

edit: just read this page, and agree with all that stuff too

Yea and he stopped getting paid 8m a year at the same time. This is just selfish as Dwight not wanting to play the pnr. How the fk is the team undercutting him? They paid him a big contract after him averaging small minutes. Gmafb.

yeah, benching him and asking him to play out of position half the time after wooing him as a free agent is not undercutting him at all. Good point.

Sorry that he wasn't good enough to play alongside with a better version of himself. If he was able to perform alongside, he would never complained. Do we see Jeremy Lin demanding a trade because he has to play off ball now after being signed as the primary ball handler before they got harden? Work on your game, suck it up and figure out how to play alongside. Again let us make sure people know rust he is still getting paid 8m+.

What is so "ADVANCED FAN" about having any sympathy for Asik? He could be living in Turkey for like $10,000 a year or something and instead he's making $8 million to sit on the bench despite really doing nothing in his career before he got that contact. The only reason I feel bad for him is because he probably is better than pathetic Dwight so it must be frustrating sitting on the bench.

I mean I'm wondering what exactly Asik has done that's unprofessional? Has he dogged it on the court? Is he wrong that if they aren't going to play him, they should trade him since he obviously has value? As far as I've seen he hasn't been quoted putting anyone on blast.

Asik is never going to be a superstar. Just don't be butthurt and play the few minutes you get super awesome and make money. So easy for him to turn useless that he shouldn't be drawing attention to himself.

Phil Pressey could be one of the 5 worst players I've ever seen playing an NBA game. Pretty hard to imagine this guy even made a roster. I guess that's their tanking ringer.
