My favorite part of the Simmons-Lowe deadline diary(which is pretty good in general) is where Simmons reveals that his "veteran who gets bought out" prediction is Jason Thompson, and then Lowe tries to diplomatically remind Simmons that Thompson's deal is for 3 more years and it doesn't take.

C'mon, Bill, just admit that you thought he was an expiring. Nobody expects you to have comprehensive knowledge of every contract off the top of your head.
