interesting, feel like if you're going to go this route (high variance O, lolD) then Steph would be who you'd pick bc the variance would involve gettin HOT FROM 3.

just LOL at embiid having more GOAT equity than Katie

Yes. This is another reason that Curry-George-Durant-LeBron-Hibbs would be dangerous and bad for us. At least BROW would give us hope here.

LMA's huge strength is almost worthless on this team.

Not sure if we want to go with RAnderson with death on the line

i mean sure, but kobe hasn't played an important game in almost two years and is injured lol. not like we're talkin PRIME BEAN
01-24-2014 , 03:51 PM
Pick Dwight instead of Hibbs and run your offence through his post-ups ofc
01-24-2014 , 03:54 PM
Kebo could get the aliens to fix his leg before the game. I mean, he's kebo.

And if they didn't want to, it doesn't matter. No means yes.

I think it may be hardest for katie since it seems inpossible that he can eclipse labrons offensive value enough to close the defensive gap
I'm wondering how players' (career value) ceilings are distributed. If Brow's median position on a "top players of all time" list is KG (just hypothetically), what outcome does his 95th percentile correspond to? Which percentile is > MJ, or > LeBron as currently projected.

What? He's an elite long range shooter who isn't a complete cancer on defense who can also play down low if necessary.

Not elite when his range doesnt go to 3

Hes worth far more to an actual nba team than a superteam. This is going to be true for pretty much any player who gets a ton of his production from midrange

If someone's median all time outcome is K ****ing G, then their absolute ceiling is something freakish the likes of which we've never seen.

Great question, wish i knew how to answer. There just isnt enough of an elite prospect sample to gauge

How much of that has to do with his system? Seems ridiculous that he'd turn into a sub par shooter when he moves 2 feet further.

KC just wins all day every day, and TZ the only place that lbj has 95% Goat equity haha

alien discussion probably the pinnacle of the nba season thus far

portland arguably values the 3 point arc more than any team in nba history (rockets attempt slightly more, but emphasize defending the arc way less. portland fewest 3pa against per game itl, less than indy even), so i think the extra 2-5 feet may cause a massive fall off for him.

he is 22/109 career on 3's, and while i'm not sure of the collective quality of their look i do think portland would likely encourage him to launch more treys if they felt he would continue to be effective behind the arc

and even if he can hit 3's at a respectable clip, if he's not taking them for portland we can't expect that he would suddenly launch a bunch for team earth.

95% GOAT equity of existing college/nba players. ie if someone in college/nba was gonna go down as the GOAT who has the most equity. honestly 95% could be too low.

federer had 95% goat quity once too but now he's just an old fraud
