I realize the anti Jordan GOAT narrative is enticing for the Labron fans on here, but dude dropped 45 points with a 60% TS two weeks before his 40th birthday, and the year before Lebron's rookie year. No doubt athletes get bigger/stronger and all that good stuff, but the gap between when Jordan played and today just isn't long enough. Dude would bend the league over much like Labron and Durant are today. And that Russell Westbrook guy seems to do okay for 6'3'' 185.

This shows you're still at level 1 thinking. Iverson was able to get an average equity shot off no matter what(not to mention fouls drawn and fatiguing opponents) and that had tremendous value as it allowed Philly to have a team full of rested defensive specialists around them and they became very successful because of it. BECAUSE OF IVERSON. This is the same crap that leads people to argue that Jimmy Butler is better and more valuable than Derrick Rose, but yeah let's just laugh at Iverson because their Offense was below average and ignore context and value provided to a team and their construct.

Agree. So many players just aren't worth the max.

Jordan would be the second best player itl if he was in his prime in today's NBA. No more no less.

I definitely could see this sentiment happening in Cleveland considering how much they value overweight players up there

Rose--healthy-- is or was >>> Iverson/Melo. I lol at the Jimmy brigade more than most. Creation isn't inherently great: there are lots of tiers amongst #1 options.

To the Lakers credit:
1. They were better than the current Nets
2. They rallied and sorta salvaged the season by making the playoffs

yeah, thats all I got

I'm starting to think this, too. It doesn't make any sense; he was awesome last year. Was it just a big giant fluke?

He's altered the offense to accommodate Bargs, it has gone poorly

yeah the best scorers don't need the implication of meta benefits and magic sauce, you just look at their stats and see they score at really good efficiency, labron, durant, curry, love, harden, paul, dirk, wade, paul george etc all just much better than guys like melo

see what my cavs can do. they pulled one out last night. now on the road, they want to see if they can get a little streak going. very winnable game for them vs bulls. idk if waiters (who they say its tendonitis in wrist and not flu which he might have a touch of same thing that sidelined bennett and kyrie has it too but played)

The wolves could really use Demar Derozan on their roster
12-21-2013 , 07:14 PM
That game against Dallas was probably my favorite. Bean outscoring the Mavs by himself through 3 quarters and sitting the 4th was elite.

I'm leaning towards the inclination that he's trying to get fired.

Cue body suit man!

Seth, I'm familiar with Cody's shortcomings and it's not like I'm saying your opinion or reasonings for it are wrong, I'm more or less just saying he's a very big and quick dude with a very good pedigree so we should wait and see a bit before writing him off.

I think that's wrong but it's not outlandish. TRG is very, very good

I've definitely wavered back and forth between overrated/underrated on AI, but I think I've basically settled on him being sorta decently rated. Sure, he can be a one man offense, and there's value in that. But he's also the kind of guy where if you signed him, you had to build a team around him being a one man offense. Ultimately, Philly's front office deserves a lot of credit for going with the team construction they did.

Lakers are +13!

How can I respectfully agree to disagree with people who ignore me while constantly calling me ******ed and questioning my intelligence and when their methodology leads them to conclude 3.Love and Butler being better and more valuable than DRose?

7. Paul George
8. Jimmy Butler
9. Kawhi Leonard

On the brightside: Kelly is a 96% FT shooter!
