Yeah, that's awesome! Nothing is more awesome than an insecure man-child reminding everyone all the time of how great and special he is, especially if it involves not performing like a great and special talent when it matters.

Next season should start one month after the draft.

hate to say this since I consider myself a fan and love to watch NBA. but Id rather not have a season if they are only going to play 15-20 some bull**** games because it would leave a sour taste to me whoever won it.

What if the Spurs/Lakers won it tho?

still leave a sour taste, I dont feel the winner of a 20 game season is a "true" champion. Id ratherhave an 82 game normal season to declare who the best team in the NBA is.

If LA or SA won it or any other team for that matter. I would'nt even consider it a title.

lots of talk from bay area newspapers about a deal between golden state and chicago with monta and deng as the respective centerpieces.

this better be nothing more than baseless rumor mongering.

what's sad is bullsfan would love the deal

Rose/Monta backcourt would definitely provide some LOL's.

As someone in Illinois, Bulls fan would 100% be screaming about how adding Monta would make them the title favorites.

Nah.

Clark, a lot of Bulls fans would love it. I've only been here 2 weeks and a bunch of them totally underrate Deng and talk about how they need someone else to score.
06-11-2011 , 03:27 PM
I dont see how it would work simply because. Rose needs the ball to be efficient. as does Ellis. both are ball dominate guards. not sure how it would work out unless Ellis can show he can be almost as efficient w/o having the ball as much.

in conclusion. Ball in Roses' hands = good. ball in Ellis' hands more = not as good.

I can only imagine how furious you get when they start trying to tell you Rose>>LBJ. They're so bad in general.

ITT we make up stuff about a fanbase
06-11-2011 , 03:35 PM
ITT someone of a fanbase doesn't realize that most people within said fanbase are super delusional homers. It only became really bad this year when people actually thought Rose deserved the MVP and the Bulls were relevant again. I'm obviously not lumping you into this group Clark, but casualBullsfan is pretty unbearable - much like casualIllini and casualCardinal fan.

lol, they've been fine with regards to this. Guys I work with are smart enough to know this.

Unfortunately, they are not smart enough to realize Kobe sucks in the clutch. Disheartening.

In before "LeBron sucks in the clutch too"

I know tons of Bulls fans, and every single one of them despises Deng and thinks he's a below-average player. Chicago fans are not smart.

Well, I know tons of Bulls fans, and all like Deng, so there.

I'm so conflicted now! Who is right!?!? AHHH
06-11-2011 , 03:49 PM
I imagine if you polled all Bull fans on a Monta for Deng swap the number that would snap take it would be above 70%+, but this is obv pure speculation.

I also know tons of Bulls fans. Some love Deng, some like him, and more dislike him. My original point was more about BullsFan loving Monta Ellis than hating Deng, though.
06-11-2011 , 07:22 PM
I don't think many truly casual fans even have much of an idea who Monta Ellis is tbh.
