in case you haven't noticed the Heat aren't winning because of their offense. In fact, it is pathetic. Their entire offense is transition which will be dramatically reduced in the playoffs.

Their strength is their D, and it requires full intensity in order to be effective.

GL with that D for 46 mins per game....potentially for 7 straight games in a series.

Like I said, thanks for the free $.
lol wat. They are 3rd in offensive efficiency in the league?

Anyways, LeBron was playing as the main person on offense, the only person on offense, and guarding the likes of Paul Pierce on defense every time.

Sure, he still requires pretty much huge intensity, but he has significantly less offensive load on the Heat. And Bosh and Wade even moreso have less load on offense and defense.

You know the lost in every series is pure trolling. Obviously I don't think he is going to play at his highest level for 46 minutes. But the fact is, he has played for 46+ in games 5-6-7 often, and that's while carrying the whole team on both ends and being the only focus of the defense. It is not a reach to say that him, Wade, and Bosh can all play ~46 in those last 3 games, and its also not a reach to say each will have it much easier than they ever have in the playoffs in terms of getting better looks and getting possessions off.

Agree with this but thinking Atlanta manages to get a game or two more.

Second round is going to be pretty awesome

Even with fan support the team is losing like $10 million a year. Not that Anaheim is any guarantee of making money. If I understand this correctly, the issue in Sacramento was supposedly the lack of a state of the art arena which was costing them seats plus the ability to profit from a lot of non-basketball sources, but isn't control of the Honda center in Anaheim, where I assume they'll play, in somebody else's hands?

I really doubt Hawks can take ORL to more than 5.

ORL sweeps ATL.

if ORL lets this go to 2 games. that will just show how far they have fallen

Their offense is fine for the regular season, and fastbreaks tend to be pretty efficient.

The reason why I made the bet was that I just don't think their offense will be as successful in the playoffs as it was in the regular season.

And sure, those guys CAN play 46 mins each. I don't think it is ideal and the playoffs can be a very long.
We will see. GL.

lollllllll------From Rotoworld:

Charlie Villanueva got into a shoving match with Ryan Hollins and then lost his mind after being ejected on Monday night.

We don't know what Hollins said to set Villnaueva off, but he tried to get to the Cavs' bench before being stopped, and then attempted to go to the Cavs locker room after the game at least twice before being stopped by police. The Cavs' locker room is barricaded and guarded by police currently, and the Palace is on "lockdown" according to the Plain Dealer on Twitter. Given the history of the Malice at the Palace with Ron Artest, David Stern is not going to take this one very well - especially with Villanueva reportedly heard to say "I'm gonna kill that dude." Villanueva's season is surely over, and he could be getting several games off to start next season, as well.

It's not like I think they are going to win it or something simple. I think they are better than 4.2 to 1 is all.

I think regardless of if they win or not I got the good side, simply because I timed the bet perfectly and got it in a 7 of 8 loss slump or something like that right before they went 15-3 to end the season. The lines are like 3.5:1 before vig now right?

Yea, I think it will take some luck for them to win, but I just think they have a better shot than the 4.2:1 I got.

P.S. I need the money more than you so its only fair I win

I'm cash strapped, but I'm sure a bunch of people would gladly bet a Heat winning in 4 versus Heat winning in 7 and everything else is null with you.
