Thayer,

at his current weight, he is still unique enough of a player that a lot of big men are going to have trouble with
meh someone noted this already, but not in the low post. since he's chosen to slim down to a 6'11 sf his edge is in the high post. or somewhere not on the block

edit: idk that i agree that regardless of size that boozer cannot handle him on the block. boozer is a pretty sturdy guy, maybe bosh shoots a turnaround from 8-10 after boozer pushes him off the block unless bosh has been sitting on a low post repertoire

He's never been a "low block" player anyway, he was a mid-post/elbow guy for the most part in Toronto as well.

It's funny how they mentioned how his old coaches "helped him" and how he has a foundation, sponsors an AAU team and built a bball court in Africa, to let you know why he's opening the marijuana facility. As if he needs a reason to do it.

I like it. Set some expectations, give them a psychological edge.

its laudable to predict 4 titles, but not 7

different context. also pretty sure it turned into 8 by the end of their parade.
03-09-2011 , 02:09 PM
i thought 8 was a reasonable expectation. starting to rethink that. i'd like to see six so long kobe doesnt get another one

Clark...im telling you right now, and trust me on this. Accept the bet at +420.

You will be profiting $1,000.oo USD.

The problem with Bosh is that he played for the raptors (in canada) and canadian WIL/pussyness has rubbed off on him.

Has there ever been a player who played for the raptors then left and won a title? If it's happened it couldnt have been moar than like once or twice and it was prob some super scrub who had nothing to do with the title at all

All I needed. Thanks Greear.

Thayer, we're on. Please confirm. You have Heat win the NBA title this season, I have them not winning the NBA title this season, my $4,200 vs. your $1,000.

John Salley
Chauncey Billups
Kevin Willis
Lindsey Hunter
Matt Bonner
03-09-2011 , 02:46 PM
meh billups only played 29 games in toronto, not enough to get exposed to the virus

salley only 25 as well, willis only 35, and hunter only 29

so really the only one who had somewhat of a long term exposure was matt bonner and he only played there for 2 seasons
03-09-2011 , 02:47 PM
kevin willis was a stud. always liked him. atlanta hawks though.

The great Matt Bonner. Greatest ginger of all time.

CP is undergoing another concussion test tonight before they set a timetable for his return. I obviously want him back, but I'm glad they're being cautious about head injuries.
03-09-2011 , 03:12 PM
Salley won rings in DET. Sorta like Andre the Giant getting cancer. Sure, he'll get smaller and weaker, but he'd still kick your ass.

Bonner is from NH. Live FREE or Die. His time in Canada only made him stronger. Upon getting to Texas, he's unleashed a can of American Whoop-Ass The likes of which we've never seen.
