This would go down in history as possibly the softest trade ever.

Man I love Kenyon so much.

Driving back from the Pepsi Center from teh game tonight I'm listening to the post game interview.

They ask him if they knew Kevin Martin would try to draw the foul at the end of the game.

Kenyon says "Of course we knew thats what he was gonna do. He was flopping all game. I hate floppers, I don't even know how to flop. Unfortunately for Kevin at the end of the game you have to be a man"

Start with their HORRIFIC salary situation. They owe Brand 15-16-17-18 over the next four years and Iggy a bit less for the same amount of time. That's a giant chunk of their salary in to two guys who are NOT #1 NBA options. Brand isn't even close and no team with Iggy as their #1 is winning anything.

They are pretty terrible this year, and that's a bad sign going forward. This "core" isn't just a heap of rooks anymore, they should be showing promise by now (kinda like ATL started to do a few years ago)

Thaddeus Young sucks. Most 'good' players start to bring it by their third year. Young doesn't rebound or play defense or do much of anything other than chuck and look clueless.

Speights is very good offensively and very not good defensively.

I like Dalembert on a team that runs the ball. He's very much like JSmoove imo (without the freak athleticism). He's probably a better man defender and worse offensively, but he's a good piece.

Lou Williams is having a career year in his 5th NBA season. I wouldn't expect much more from him in his career, but he's an average-ish NBA PG at his best.

Iverson/Green is the worst SG combo in the NBA
good post.

also, played bball today. i hate when people have long fingernails. i got slashed not once, not twice, but thrice. drew blood all three times. the problem is by the time i notice it, my hands are literally bloody and i need to wipe them off my shirt. good thing i was wearing a black shirt for pickup.

cs didnt play very well and easily coulda lost. but the wizards are legit terrible and completely didnt try at all in the 4th.

play of the game was when big baby was shooting a free throw in the 4th and the a loud cheer went up and the bemused announcers said that the jumbotron read that if he missed the next ft "everyone in the arena gets a free ice cream sandwich."

naturally he missed.

also, watched the celtics game, im watching the jazz game now. AK at the 4 does wonders; we're running a 2nd Q lineup of Millsap-AK-Wes-CJ-Price. it looks VERY good. dallas just called a timeout, we're up 1. i like it!

about the boston game: was a 11 pt win, but wasn't a true 11pt win. was more like a 3 pt win. flip saunders impressed me; down 5 with 70 seconds to go he started fouling. it worked at first (fouled rondo, who missed both) but wiz suck so hard they didn't score again in the game. kinda wanted the wiz to close the gap due to good coaching.

ill take the win tho; pierce's injury didn't look bad to me whatsoever, but im all for being precautionary. esp with TA lighting it up. HOPEFULLY he becomes our full fledged 6th man, as he can comfortably play 1-2-3. (prefer him at the 2 tho)

haven't checked the boxscore, but from an observer perspective, antawn jamison prob single handedly lost the game for them. shame, he's a likeable fellow. perk played pretty well. it seemed like ray didnt play in the 1st half due to foul trouble, and pierce didnt play in the 2nd due to injuries. and, lol brian scalabrine. cant wait to see his line.

I'm a donk for not recording the MEM/LOL game. I made a point of it last night. Looked great. Big Cajones for MEM to hold, even with Conley fail. When I was watching highlights I thought LOL was definitely winning.

Man, what a fun team MEM is. Story of the year.

it's criminal that Jerry Stackhouse is taking minutes from Ridnour with the season he's having, and with how much Stackhouse has sucked for the past 3 years.
