And I certainly think JJ is at this point in their careers better than Pierce is

I mean, if nothing else this game is a pretty clear indicator of their value to their teams

Not saying PP isn't valuable, but the ball was in JJ's hands EVERY time

love how boston has to play like **** and atlanta has to play well for atl to win

Boston was lights out great defense all first half

i'm not involved with the PP vs JJ stuff.. I couldn't care less. I think they're pretty similar right now. Both vv good. Whether one is 18th and one 21st or vice versa, it's splitting hairs.

PP is the only "Top 20 NBA Player" who doesn't even get considered by his team in the 4th then

I mean he coulda demanded the ball, done something

He seemed pretty apathetic with it all

There might be some behind the scenes thing with the assistant there

and they played like absolute garbage post-Tfest (and T-fest itself can be considered terrible. Spewing 3 FTs to a top team over a fairly standard call, even if borderline, is awful). what's your point?

And we didn't play amazing D in the 1st half. ATL shot and scored very well, they just got lit up by some hot shooting. we cooled off.

I'm not saying ATL didn't play well, but Cs completely imploded and Thibs couldn't right the ship. And ATL capitalized. That's a recipe for a loss against most teams in the L and especially against a top 10 one.

The incompetence and amateurism of Blazer television programs never ceases to amaze me. I'm trying to watch "Courtside" to hear if there is any recent news with the team and it's like a high school A/V club huffed paint and tried to throw together something at the last minute. Shaky cameras, dudes just wandering around, Mike Barrett, it's pathetic.

JJ plays a bigger role on his team, higher usage, turns it over less, much better passer, and rebounds just as well

you're just showing the category he's better in

haven't seen any pics of him from his year in europe, but he has had corn rows/braids basically all year and it's not that hard to go from those to a flattop. he also rocked it in the mcdonald's all american game

He took 2 shots in the 4th (both misses) and made a few drive and passes (one or two TOs, one was a Perk dunk, one was a wide open Ray corner 3 that missed). So the something to it is you're making crap up.

Yeah the offense was odd, but it wasn't JUST pierce. Ray. ROndo. For some reason we put to much stock in the size mismatches Perk and Davis were getting. Oh well.
