this too. i mean what can you do, i just dont want the lakers to lucksack to the finals. its obvious whether or not they win these games they WILL be the #1 seed in the west, everyone was certain of that in the preseason (even me but i just wanted ANY other team to supplant them). i just want someone to knock them out before the finals. please.

I admit most Lakers homers are dickheads and I strive to be better than that. We're probably running 4-5 wins above expectation.

You're saying you don't want the best team in the West to be in the finals?

Meh, pyth-wise you're only running 2.5 games above expectation. Which seems reasonable when you can attribute a few of these close games specific calls, like tonight and the Milwaukee game. I really do think the Lakers are the 2nd best team in the league, ahead of the Magic, Cavs, Hawks, etc.

Just frustrating they somehow have the best record in the league. The rash of away games SHOULD bring that down, but winning in double OT helps them stave it off.

He's basically admitting he hates basketball and is a massive boston and utah homer who wants to see a ****ty team in the finals instead of the 2 top teams going at it.

Dear Phil Jackson, it's great that you won but can you rest Kobe, Pau and LO just a little next time?

So shouldn't we be crediting the surgeons then? IE the surgeons performed such an amazing job that allowed Pierce to play. He was questionable for game 2 of the finals but just fine for game 3 onward? None of what you've said gives any indication on whether Paul Pierce is tough or not. Especially the stabbing bit. He recovered, magic surgeons or magic inner healing, and was cleared to play on game 1 of the season. Literally every other event points to a different conclusion. You can claim I'm trolling but pretend I'm not and tell me why I am wrong.

Yeah that was pretty hilarious, even though there were like 6X as many ineligible voters as my 4 or 5 gimmicks. Wish I screwed with the validity of that incredibly important competition even more.

Corey Brewer had a really nice game tonight. He's another young guy that I think Threadzilla has given up on too early. He has the tools to be a solid player.
