Noah is better on offense. Flopajao is better on defense. There overall value is probably really close. I'd probably prefer Varejao actually. If you're depending on offense from Noah you're in bad shape. For what both of their roles should be, I'd prefer the guy who is better at defense.

lol you dont even know any cavs fans. you live in kentucky ffs.

i dont hate u i just know for a fact you are completely clueless about the cavs and proly basketball in general. you are typical joe fan who calls for mike browns head bc they lose 2 games and pleads for ferry to "do something," even if that something is trading our backup center for an overpaid lengthy contract inefficient bulk scorer that plays the same position as lebron.

lol from a watching perspective it's impossible to watch basketball and think Varajao > Noah, so I guess you're going to push the stats perspective? That means I'll have to go to basketball-reference and extract these garbage stats eh? Let's see what crap we have here

Noah last season:

6.4 win shares, .556 efg%, .594 ts%, 16.5 PER

Varabitch last season:

8.0 win shares (again this statistic is ****ing ******ed -- of course he'll have more win shares, the cavs ****ing won 66 games, what a useless piece of trash), , .536 efg%, .565 ts%, and 14.6 PER

Noah wins gg

this is damn good. but i dont think you even lose anything on offense with av.

noah is better at creating his own shot but he still sucks at it and its not something you want to happen for your offense. varejao is a better cutter and finisher which is super important when playing with lebron.

I think Victor is being inhabited by Delonte West the past month, his behavior and comments and poasting is pretty erratic imo. <3

I've lived in Ohio my whole life.

Mike Brown sucks as an offensive coach, and it showed last year when he let Kuester take over. Come on, you know this.

LeBron(after-the-fact) was upset they didn't do a trade just like the one I suggested at the time. I agree by the numbers it actually didn't look great, and I kind of agreed at the time that it might not be great when you guys pointed out some problems with it. Now seeing him in Charlotte makes me think LBJ and my "typical Joe-ness" are probably correct.

Really, calling me dumb for saying something LBJ ended up agreeing with is also stupid. Regardless of statistical metrics, this mans whole life is NBA and he is there on the court. He knows a lot about the game, and I can almost guarantee he knows an amazing amount more than you on the subject even if he doesn't know everyones adjusted +/-. I am not saying I'm right because he said it too, but I am saying I couldn't have been extremely wrong once LeBron said he wanted the trade as well. Maybe slightly, but nothing to get called out for.

Anything else?

Remember, there are 20 people calling you nuts and delusional, not me. So call me out with something useful.

I don't know Schwallie, but I'd wager that most Cavs fans are from Ohio/don't have as many bandwagoners w/ zero connection to Ohio compared to the large # of "Lakers" fans w/ zero connection to California because they haven't really had much success ever.

What's your defense for going from Bulls fan in the 90s to a Lakers fan now?

I think you probably do. AV would probably be an even bigger spaz without LeBron.

i wasnt basing it on stats at all. except apm but that was kinda a joke.

its strictly from watching av and hes very very good and helpful to the cavs.

I'm not thoroughly convinced because AV has played his entire career for a rather brilliant defensive coach in MB, and Noah has played for a pretty meh coach on sub-par defensive teams.

I'd be feel pretty good about Noah if he came and took Big Baby's and Shelden's minutes.

From Ohio, wasn't a huge NBA fan before LeBron really but watched him a lot in high school in Ohio. I liked the Cavs but like I said didn't really care for the NBA.

Basically the same reason I kind of start liking any franchise. I became a Vikings fan in 98 after watching Moss all through college. I still cheer for Moss and Patriots if they aren't playing anyone important, but I'm a Vikings fan still and am crushed by their loss tonight.
