If the game is on Friday, downtown will be mobbed. Music fest starts Friday and the weather should be nice. Parking will be horrible. Right now my plan is to go to Music fest and skip the game but maybe will win in SA.....would be awesome. I guess going would be pretty awesome as well. Decisions, decisions. I've been going the last couple of years but I barely watched them on TV until the last 2 seasons. I remember going to a Bobcats game 3 seasons ago http://www.basketball-reference.com/...812190MEM.html (29 point loss at home). I honestly think about 3000 people showed up for the game. I think this was near the low.

I wonder how good this team would be with Rudy. We'd be forced to play less Sam Young and Shane which can only be a good thing.

MGMT and BOB at same time as the game pretty much killed any chance of me going to Music fest Friday. May stick around and go Saturday/Sunday, tho?

You do know Shane Battier is better than Rudy Gay, right?

In case you didn't, more Gay less Battier is a bad exchange. If you just replaced Young with Gay, it's an improvement tho

Heart the "3-shooters" (as opposed to, you know, 6-shooters) gif above.

Only annoying part for me is I will be travelling for business and my hotel room won't have NBATV. Going to have to go to a Bar....no biggie though.

No, it really is terrible how NBATV gets playoff games. Honestly how can anyone think its a good idea. ****ing have ESPN air a game instead of showing 1hr specials about the NFL offseason for ****s sake. its so bad at this point

So I assume Jetto doesn't live in Texas then if he's having to watch the game on NBATV?

Fox Sports Southwest will carry it, as will SportSouth, I'm about 99% sure.

shane battier is not better than rudy gay. for his role on certain 5-man units, maybe, but he is obviously not better

yea gay had been pretty great this year before his injury

Gay: 17.8 PER, 54.8% TS, 12.2% TOV on 23.3% USG- 9.3% TRB (14.2% DRB, 4.5% ORB)

Battier: 12.3 PER, 56.7% TS, 12.6% TOV on 11.7% USG- 9.0% TRB (13.7% DRB, 4.4% ORB)

Also Gay had 2.8 defensive win shares in 54 games, Battier had 2.2 in 82.

I know none of these stats are "perfect" but they make it really damn unlikely that Battier>Gay or thats its really close. I can see an argument where Gay's USG makes ZBO get the ball less...I guess

Isn't nba tv part of most regular cable packages? I get it and I just have cable + local channels.

rudy gay was terrific this season and with him i think the grizzlies may even be the best team in the west. but shane battier was a stellar pickup.

Yes I have a soft spot for the Spurs.

But set aside all the bull****. Real talk, I just cant give up on the Spurs. They did not play all 48mins last game. MEM is a tough matchup and they have played well, consistently well which is what you expect for this MEM team. But I am not calling it done with SA. They are too tough, too talented and too ****ing good to give up in 5. This team is showing up tonight and MEM will have to match whatever SA dishes out. This Spurs team has what it takes to win 3 straight. They will come out and compete and look to push it back to MEM.

You can call SA out. I'm counting that they I we will still see a LA-SA WCF
