Depends how healthy/good philly is.

But I'd have Charlotte/Miami over Det

Detroit is fine, SVG is fine

it's basically a meme now that if a coach is more than just a coach people especially the media circlejerk about how bad this is. it's mostly Doc Rivers bad at his job not everyone else.

Aron Baynes and Ish Smith contracts were criticized but they're fine, never hear the pundits admit they were wrong about those. "omg omg hard cap, SVG is so dumb, they can't match KCP now" how'd that work out?

KCP now a UFA thanks to Det renouncing

Hayward at the 3, Morris at the 4. If Brown is going to play more there is still a bit of a logjam at the forward spots.
I think they need Smart to come off the bench as the backup PG. They can stagger Hayward and Horford so they have a non-PG playmaker on the floor at all times. I do wonder if Smart will be the guy the Nets throw a huge offer sheet at next summer.

I think they go with Hayward at the 2 and Crowder at the 3, unless they go with Brown at the 2 and move Crowder to the bench.

The Celtics still have the room exception to go after a big. I think they were hoping Zizic could start and play 15-20mpg while they finish games with smallball. Maybe they will look to sign a center who can eat up minutes and preserve Horford for the playoffs. Does Andrew Bogut make sense? Ekpe Udoh?

Dedmon from SA would be a nice MLE 3rd big.

Bogut seems too banged up at this point. Tough to rely on him to do anything.

How are there still Knicks fans?

KCP hitting the market makes several teams look quite bad with early signings
07-07-2017 , 01:28 PM
If he was the hardest worker in the NBA be wouldn't have like 20% body fat.
07-07-2017 , 01:47 PM

taking Kennard with Mitchell on the board is gonna be one of those "jesus christ i can't believe they did that" moves years from now. SVG is a dumpster fire.

even more offensive is the Nuggets deciding Tyler Lydon and Trey Lyles are somehow > Mitchell

Why can't Bradley and KCP play 2/3? PG/Bradley/KCP/Harris/Drummond isn't possible? Both Bradley and KCP have the size/length/versatility to defend multiple positions, having them on the floor together would allow them to hide whoever their PG is on the weakest non big.

Can't wait to see Seadood praise the Nuggets for their Donovon Mitchell pick

Leuer - 4/42
Boban - 3/21
Galloway - 3/21
Ish - 3/18

Josh Smith - 5.3MM this year in cap space
07-07-2017 , 03:43 PM
But let's not forget that Reggie Jackson is 5/80MM. Cya Pistons.

I wonder if some of that has to do with how big of a commitment giving KCP around 4/90 seems like? So the people in charge just aren't comfortable giving such a large contract to a guy they feel isn't more than a 3rd/4th best player on a good team, maybe they feel won't take basketball as seriously after a deal like that, etc

So all of these smaller deals seem OK because they aren't as big of investments, but then you're paying 30-40 million to your 8th-11 men all of a sudden and it's like how did we get here?

And this isn't just about the Pistons, seems like this happens a lot. Why so many bums make 6-10mill on shorter deals.
