I don't think that's true. I think Faried, Gallo, and Lawson were all better.

What do you think the Lakers salary cap situation is?

who do the lakers have to play basketball? i mean they might not be tanking but chris kaman i mean last year was like the first year in 5 he could play in some games and coach said f it stay on the pine u suck. now he's 31 he is gonna somehow be an asset? goudelock and sacre i mean thats a french law firm! what else oh yeah earl clark says u know what la im gonna take my talents to...cleveland! steven nash i mean u know how they joke like jkidd is pretty good for a 50 year old i mean nash really is 50 or somethin i dunno lemme check he might not be that old...February 7, 1974 (age 39)ok so come playoffs he will be 40 and really gonna be tight on fin steph cuz he is a vet and just like when u guard lebron man nash knows get down low and move your feet thats the key defense is played with your feet and watch the number cuz westie can fake u with his eyes or head or like jab step but where his number goes where the body goes thats where he is going and beat him to the spot.

and we need a paragraph here...ummm i mean gasol he was hahaha he was like oh man laker fan was like trade gasol for a bag of balls omg now its like ahhh gasol el corzon de lakers u da man. kobe man cmon hahahaha i love kobe but i mean he isnt superman i mean maybe he isnt human but it will be shocking to see him be anything i mean shocking nothing funny about that but kobe is more likely to look like old willie mays for the mets or whatever i aint that old but like hakeem for toronto okay then the mamba man.

Celtics hired 23 year analytic guy Drew Cannon, who worked at Butler last year for one year. dude does reports of every game that take 10-12 hours to make

Coaching staff is gonna hurt their tankjob. They gotta be worth like 5-10 wins alone.

would u hate iggy less if he played forward more. Its clearly his most favorable position. IDK how it was distributed in den. cuz if hes on the court w/ klay he will play the 3, and play 2 w/ HB. but maybe will go small and play lee, hb iggy, klay, steph alot this year.I think hes gonna play the 2 way more though b/c we are more stacked in the forward spots.

wee need to sign a backup for glass ankles asap

^^ that's what the iverson talk is about... dallas offered for him to go to the d-league earlier this year so they can evaluate how in shape he is + if he can still contribute at his age & ivy rejected it.... now with dallas not getting anything in their off season i am proposing that the mavs sign him for the vet minimum pretty much

i don't see how collecting and sorting data would take you 10-12 hours per game if you do the same **** over and over.
07-08-2013 , 09:25 PM
celts hire drew cannon, fairly well known math guy who advised stevens. he's written for a few sites too. more good moves from them
07-08-2013 , 09:28 PM
so c's going all-in on this new age stats stuff it appears. good. i hope they are smart enough to lose a lot this year.
07-08-2013 , 09:29 PM
lol at telling iverson to go to the dleague. who does cuban think he is?

i got iverson leaving his heart on the floor during real games. not practice. not dleague. and not for the lolmavs.

go sign bynum.

Agreed. I'm like becoming a Celtics fan and it feels so wrong, yet so right. Purely because of the coaches.

Also, I like the Mavs and really love Dirk (who doesn't?) but ****, are they the most screwed team right now? How did Cuban let this happen?

I suppose that makes sense. If defense doesn't matter at all....

In all seriousness, I think in terms of regular season value someone like Lawson pushing the ball for 35 mins a game might be more valuable (especially when the Nuggs play at home) or Faried going all-out intensity when others aren't but make no mistake when you factor in defense and ability to contribute in the playoffs for a contending team...Iggy was their most valuable guy.

It is still strange that in an NBA world where +/- stats guys are getting hired all over the place that a player who has been a top 50 player by RAPM for the last 5 years and top 30 for the last 3 doesn't get any love
