Thayer "picks me apart" because I make a lot of statements, all ~typically involve varying amounts of truths to them, and sometimes the statements progress to a point where they no longer hold true. He also has an entire folder of these statements saved because he's pretty aspy, so when the statement suddenly is not the case, he can rehash it and cackle in his own delight.
dwight and paul george, i like it. theoretically high potential all five years, although also very decent chance your two star players underwhelm and you're bottom third of the league year in and year out.
Yeah I figured you'd go with Melo. It's a really great pairing with Gasol. I probably would have taken him unless one or two guys fall, but that's unlikely. If you passed on Melo I likely had him unless Charder took him for West Baltimore reasons.
i think horford is generally solid value here but i really dislike the pairing. you go with two big men in the first round i think you want more two way value and / or flexibility.
both of these guys have some post game and ability to hit the mid-range shot, but im not seeing how they play particularly well off each other.
neither plays great against small-ball 4s, neither offers elite rim protection.
