I'll stop but this is a good watch. It's true Bird had some areas open for criticism. But a good job explaining what a special player he was...He uses term "alchemy"...I tended towards "zen"...but it is a certain witchcraft that is hard to relate unless you saw it then and played a bit against obviously weaker guys but who had that sense.

I think Durant and/or Suns Owner is paying Watanabe under the table. Otherwise, Why did he sign for the veteran's minimum when he could have clearly made more on the open market??? Is this guy allergic to making money or what!?

I concur. Steve Kerr is such a crappy coach. USA was getting mauled on the boards vs Montenegro yet he still kept Mikal Bridges in as the 4. How about you just put Kessler/JJJ in as 5/4??? USA legitimately could have lost to Montenegro who has a population of 620K~ ppl. lol

Brunson was an uncharacteristic 1/6 from fg in the first half. He missed 3 if not 4 shots that he makes with great regularity.

The 6th game IS the QF.

1st group stage qualifies 2 teams from each group for the 2nd Group Stage. The 2nd group stage qualifies teams for the QFs (top 2 from each group).

For example, in the 2nd group stage, Group J is made up of the top 2 from Group C (USA and Greece) and the top 2 from Group D (Lithuania and Montenegro). Because USA and Greece have already played each other, the 2nd group stage consists of only 2 games: USA playing the Group D teams.

Yeah FIBA doesn't take any **** from anyone. Also they actually let them play defense, a little too much at times, but overall imho it makes for an interesting watch.

Silver wouldn't dare allow defense to be played in the regular season. It would impact stats/gambling too much.
