I don’t see how that **** flies against Jokic

Yeah I’m saying I like the Nugs. They’re well built for the playoffs and have been pretty consistent on nightly basis. Cant say the same for the Lakers. Also with the Denver altitude the HC is worth a little more than usual.

Think you’re underselling the Lakers slightly, Lakers played well against GSW, they’re an incredibly difficult team to defend given their shooting and they did some interesting stuff and counter adjustments. On the whole they got pretty fortunate still. They won the super tight games in 1 and 4 which coulda gone either way and probably does if Kerr just ran more PnR with Curry. Curry really gave a C+ level performance for the series for his standards and Klay/Poole were F’s. AD’s been a prime Bill Russell and Hakeem hybrid on D but he’ll have his hands full with Jokic and has been meh on offense to begin with. LeBron is old as **** and his foot is likely deteriorating. The role guys will need to step up in a big way to win a road game I think. I guess if AD goes nuclear and manages to hold Jokic to 27 point triple doubles nightly while crushing offensively every night it could work too but I’m not seeing that at this point in his career.

The Lakers are the first team in MLB/NBA/NFL/NHL history to finish in last place outright in their division yet be among the final four teams remaining in the playoffs that season.

or maybe the lakers and woyas both kinda suck

AD/Bron are tough to judge because their effort and what they're capable of in terms of physical exertion just changes so much game to game. Nuggets definitely have a higher floor as a team than them, Jokic/AD both going 40-42 mins battling each other and 1 is far more likely to die over a 7 game series.

But just in terms of matchus/personnel I do think Lakers are better as long as those 2 guys are about as good as they were in the GS series. You could argue ADs job is easier since Jokic is far more stationary than Curry.

Denver kinda getting overrated a bit, by the end of that series the Suns were giving minutes to all stiffs outside their big 2. They ran the Suns off the floor but they should've. Guess you could say the same about the Lakers but I do think GS was a far more complete team than Phoenix.

Lakers have all solid guys in their rotation, if they have a weakness it is wing D and that isn't really how the Nuggets score. You can probably start Schroder and have Reaves on MPJ.

Can the Nuggs defend at a high level with Jokic, MPJ, Murray all out there together? Because doing that Brown over MPJ thing down the stretch seems like it won't work vs this Lakers D. You need Porter shooting/gravity and he needs to punish the 3 guards alignment a little as well perhaps. I thought the Lakers would have trouble scoring vs GS and they didn't, well it is easy to laugh at GS now but is Denver really a better defense than them? Dray is better than anyone Denver has. But Murray/MPJ/Jokic having to defend in space could be a similar problem. Lakers offense just seems very good at picking at your weak spots (if they were to make the finals and play Boston then AD/LeBron would probably need to just be the 2 best players in the series to win as Celts don't really have many spots for the DLo/Reaves/Denis guys to attack)

I'm really not sure how much the HC/altitude matters in the playoffs. Denver just hasn't been in the playoffs much but when they have, their homecourt didn't really seem to have much value over other homecourts. Seems like more of a regular season advantage when everyone is yayed out and lit from the club the night before.

Had similar problem this week. My freezer and fridge wouldn't cool. Needed new compressor apparently. Repair cost $995. I probably got ripped off. Don't care. Needed nightmare to end asap.

also LOLOL at thinking jokic and the nuggets are going over lebron james and the lakers in his last run, his most improbable run to play the celts/sixers in the finals. Better win by KO.

He was never very good at twos.
After the injury, he cant get up so finishing at the rim is impossible.

Energy player who played great D and hit the 3 often enough. Bjelica and Otto Porter Jr were also highly underrated bench players. Also, Poole and even Kuminga haven't played up to expectation this year which also isn't helping.

Cliffs: Warriors are done.
Close enough. Embarrassed that I misspelled Klay tho.

Warriors should trade Steph and tank.

Free Curry!

Wasting the rest of his very good years will be a downright shame.

Fwiw, I think Draymond is gone. I think Harden signs with Houston and then they throw a bag at Draymond.
