Man, there were so many follow-up trades in the few years following the original deal moving pieces and pieces acquired using those pieces so that tertiary trade value matters. I guess Lakers win the trade if you think that Shaq-Webber would have been so dominant that Shaq would have stayed in Orlando.
Does Shaq-Webber beat the 95' Rockets?

So the dude that was drafted 27th by the Lakers sent a tweet to Kobe 3 years ago calling him a rapist. Awkward

Kids do dumb things

76ers ordered to pay the Pelicans 3mil due to not disclosing Jrue Holidays stress fractures

Kobe forgets that he was Shaqs ball boy and gasols towel manager for those championships.

He even tried to skip town when there wasn't a superstar he could ride the coat tails of.

If anyone should say "the banners hang forever, but friends come and go", it's shaq and pau.

Injured Jrue and 3 million for Nerlens and the 10th pick in the following years draft still a steal.

Wow, how is there not more of a penalty? They hid knowing about an injury when trading a player?

Nm, mixed up my years

Knicks need to handle Porzingis like the Bucks handled Giannis. Just let him play 25 minutes a night, you know he is going to suck but that's how they learn, by playing, not by watching. Knicks are going to screw him up because Melo isn't going to want to play with him. Knicks need a total rebuild and that won't start until they trade Melo.

Didn't they get the Pelicans pick? But they ended up flipping it again for Payton?

Ya I feel like hinkie would be smart enough to not outright lie, but would be the type of person who would be like "oops someone in the organization didn't tell me he was red flagged. Sorry about that."

He probably broke it down like a math equation:

X%chance of getting caught * Y$ penalty if caught <<<<<<< the $ev of the deal with his health misrepresented

Here's a local beat writer's take on the Pels/76ers trade debacle. I'm a big Pels fan, but it seems their medical staff should be somewhat culpable here for not checking Jrue out more thoroughly, no? Obviously bad form on the 76ers part, but the game is the game as well...

Jesus, BROW/nerlens/Elfrid would be such a sick core
06-28-2015 , 01:30 PM
Yeah, wow, $3M is not enough close to enough. If the compensation is just going to be money, it should be like half of Holiday's salary for the rest of the deal.
06-28-2015 , 01:33 PM
elfrid not good
06-28-2015 , 01:34 PM
aren't they supposed to do physicals before the trade gets approved?

If the stress fractures were healed by the time of the physical, how easy is it to detect evidence that they occurred?
