Don't the Bills play a few games each year in Toronto? I know they did last year or the year before.

I believe that's the famous meme 'but that's none of my business'. At least that's what would make the most sense.

Age wise doesn't make that much sense either. Seems like DeAndre is the type of dude who could "feel the love" and switch back. That **** would be the funniest ever
Doc is a terrible GM though, I have more faith in Cuban/Carlisle putting together a good team in the next few years than I do lolDocCoach/EvenmoreloldocGM

someone needs to tell Pierce he's on the wrong team for that emoji

Yeah this seems simple. Just do away with the moratorium.

Seth is lawyering up and saying this was bound to happen and no legal footing for breach of contract. But according to dunkd on podcast, the league once told the heat that the verbal agreement they made with him to re-sign counted against the cap, so they couldn't pursue other FAs and time it such that the FAs signed and then they used birds to keep zo.

Died at the PP tweet and Rudy response. Amazing

kidcolin- Seth is right, and whatever anecdote about the Heat there is either out of date or wrong. You're allowed to time deals however you want, if you couldn't the Spurs couldn't afford LMA if Green and Leonard's extensions counted.

The system is definitely ****ed up. Why do they space out the date of "teams are allowed to negotiate" and "players are allowed to sign" anyway? I read something about how it is because the CBA needs to determine what the cap will be (67 or 69M). Seems weird that you'd need to take this much time to announce the cap.

Also apparently a verbal agreement does have its weight in all this so would be interesting if the mavs went legal with this. They have a legit case

Pistons lock up Joel Anthony for 2/5mil - 2nd year not guarenteed

They need to audit the income for the league to determine the cap, it's not something you can just plug into Excel.

I'm not sure why people are acting like this is unprecedented. Hedo literally did the same thing. Billy Donovan did the same thing. Every winter, hundreds of college football recruits do the same thing.

Weird how DAJ never tweeted about joining the Mavs whereas pretty much all the free agents that signed a deal seem to have tweeted about it

DeAndre stuff is making me laugh. The guy can't make free throws, you expect him to make a decision?

So can't they delay free agents negotiations by the time they've calculated it? Say teams were able to start negotiating July 9th would have it changed much?
