Not hating on him at all, but he is rewriting history with that tweet.

RT @WindhorstESPN: Heat telling free agents they'll have $12+ mil to spend, indicating Wade & Bosh ready to take huge pay cuts, sources say

This, did you just not read the context of the conversation?

I really like the way the Heat and big 3 are going about things. They should imo spend it on 3 good players rather than 1 great one, but we'll see.

No one here thinks Kobe just forgot what actually happened, right? Obviously he's just trying to re-write history in his favor.

I am a little confused as to why he even brought it up in a tweet. Seems like the kind of thing that no one ever thinks about anymore, and by bringing it up he's reminding more people what actually happened than making them think his tweet is the true story.

Rewriting history is a benefit of sitting on the throne.

Bosh must really love Miami.

Doesn't seem real that he's taking that much of a pay cut.

Good on him.

if Lowry is out there i think you take him , but w/ 12 mil +the Full MLE they should be able to get good players
07-01-2014 , 03:50 PM
Bosh trying his damndest to make up for the shortcomings of the Bron/Riley GM tandem
07-01-2014 , 03:53 PM
Bosh leads the league in being bitchmade. LOL at taking less money than Wade.

are they allowed the mle?
07-01-2014 , 03:55 PM
No
07-01-2014 , 03:56 PM
ya
07-01-2014 , 03:58 PM
You lose the MLE when you go under the cap. They do get the 2.7M room exception, but that's a two year max.
07-01-2014 , 03:59 PM
they'll go over the cap

Second, even if he was a gambler why would he accept a neutral ev wager? Esp based on a random guestimate that places him on the side w much more to lose. If you wanted to make a point you should offer like your 100 vs 900 (which any non gambler declines anyway regardless of age)

Third id offer my 900 vs your 100 on labron cavaliering thjs offseason
if 20:1 is neutral EV, tell me again why I'm taking 9:1?

I have no idea what Canzano is doing breaking MIA news, he often screws up POR news. Another POR sports radio guy was just on a rant about how the Blazers absolutely need to trade for "Gary" Monroe with a package centered around Batum.
07-01-2014 , 04:28 PM
No way bosh is taking that much of a paycut

you're the one that thinks the old man is being crazy by suggesting it's only ~5%. it was rather implicit that you believe it's >>>

i'll offer you 10:1, even

i'm not a fan of kobe the player but kobe the person is GOATish.

he forced his way to the one of the most desirable cities to play in when he was an 18 y/o HS scrub and then went on to win 5 rangz and convince casuals he's possibly the GOAT in spite of being like the 50th best player OAT or w/e.

he could probably do things differently to have a higher RAPM, but the man is a massive life winner.
