Where are you getting those numbers, aside from making them up?

Feel horrible for him. Such a horrendous moment.

I know there is a precedent for this, going to get some research on.

I've never seen someone's knee explode like McGahee's did, that was unnaturally brutal. Thankfully I've managed to still never see Livingston's knee injury.

give dmc the mic.

wow. that ****in leg.

i mean i guess if there's any solace, broken bones seem to be easier to recover from than like acl tears.

Just screamed in horror in the middle of poker game when watching that

Is it on YouTube ?

Derrick Rose never gonna be the same after coming back and then seeing something like that happen immediately. He's probably thinking that's gonna happen to him.

.....?

watched the game solely to watch Rose. He was 3/4 from the field and 2/2 from the line. turnovers could be wrong but ok?

This article is 15 years old, but it is thorough. Timetable for bone to be recovered is 3-4 months. Muscles can take longer, but if he has WIM he can get the muscle back. Next year around this time he could seemingly be close to 100%.

Yeah, that looked painful
08-01-2014 , 10:52 PM
To those of you feeling especially bad about having seen that, its at least nice to know that the bone is actually stronger once it heals and only takes 3-4 months.

Kevin Ware ‏@5Juice 4m
Man..
08-01-2014 , 10:53 PM
i'm sure some of it was shock related.

larry,

1 year seems like a long time-frame. Assuming no complications bones can heal pretty quickly, especially if they aren't wimps about it (weight bearing exercise should start as soon as possible). Early '15 seems possible.

Vomit

Dear god turn the game on for just one minute. WTF. That looked just like Nerlens Noels injury.
