Chicago has Thibs, and he made those scrubs a playoff team. no way is chi a "far worse" spot

Blatche meeting with Raptors tmrw. I dont understand it, but I trust in Masai

So Chicago whiffs on Melo. What now? Mirotic + who? Or keep Boozer?

Lance would help when Rose gets injured again, though I don't think you want him in a city known for gunfire.

lol if Chi signed Melo they would be around 4th or 5th in the NBA in title equity for the upcoming season

if NYK signs Melo or instead they choose to sign me, they are a non-factor in the immediate future regardless

I see Popp is spending his summer coaching the German soccer team.

LeBron emerged from meeting at 1:42 p.m. local time, telling AP "no complaints. I have no complaints." And that was that.

Now if we are assuming that ROSE returns from the grave, they certainly move near the top 10.

BUT Thibssssss is still a massive roadblock to the title as long as he is willing to run his guys into the ground during the regular season.
If Melo signs right now then I'd say they are around 5th-6th to title upon further examination. 4 west teams/heat assuming they comeback.

Think Melo would be a great fit on a team with a bunch of good defensive players that desperately needs shot creation and the East is obviously awful. Tough to predict what will happen with Rose but if you took $ out of it (impossible, but you were the one who started the Knicks vs Bulls on just bball merit talk) then you gotta think Chicago represents a high upside situation with limited resistance in the East. Rose obviously has some returning to form equity, what that is I dunno but he is only 25..

If he re-signs with the Knicks they're banking on coming up in FA in 2015 which is no guarantee.

^^^ Lance prob goes o the lakers, lakers not gonna get anybody in free agency so note worthy & hayward, lance etc will be saught after hard right when melo resigns with the knicks.

p.s d.wade & bosh must feel like such idiots in this whole thing opting out to take less $ & only for the heat to add mid level guys when they could've done that anyway, there agents should be fired tbh.

The "Melo-to-Miami" plan is contingent upon Bosh leaving and then what you said isn't even close to accurate. I really wish people that dont understand what they are talking about would stop making awful comments like this one.

i want to see the stats for where he has more than 1 dribble on his post up too. that might be the worst in the league by a mile.

Sounds like Bosh can get a max deal and get paid from Hou. if thats what he wants. Not like he has to take less.

What would be accurate, then? You didn't explain what I said that was wrong. I get that what I said made you sad, but what was inaccurate?

Fat Ray so elite that the Mavs signed Devin Harris and are close to signing Mo Williams to play ahead of him

Lebron and Melo could both get max deals and Wade could still get 16-17 million and they would still have plenty (within context in this situation) cap room. Far from the 8 you are believing.

ya i took the 8 million number as a standard exaggeration to point out that its not happening. melo wants max dollars and makes more than bosh.

eta: saywhattttttttt jaash?

No. Melo's max is 23, but let's pretend for Lebron's sake he takes the same 20.7. So that's 41.4. Granger and McBob is another 7.3ish, call it 48.7. So before Cole, before Bazz, before Haslem, before the holds for empty roster spots, you're already at like 14.5.

Cole and Bazz are 3. Empty spots is another 2. Haslem can maybe fit into the room exception, I guess, which would let Wade get ~$9M? The math is pretty clear on this.
