Should have been a second round pick based on all his background stuff and shenanigans. Kid is going to be a real problem, especially being drafted in his own back yard. Problems going to follow him. Typical MJ.

Is he really going to give this guy the millions and millions of dollars profit by returning to Cleveland?

Spoiler:

2. Dysfunctional organization: Forget the latest draft pick. This is a team that fired Mike Brown twice; they missed the playoffs despite the East being non-competive. They spent assets acquiring Spencer Hawes and Luol Deng during the season only to watch them walk anyway (*Deng not out yet but seems fairly likely). How confident can Lebron feel about new head coach David Blatt's transition into this toxic environment?

3. Market Size. Cleveland isn't even in the top 15 biggest televised markets for NBA teams. If Lebron is all about getting paid the max now, playing for a small-market team is about as dumb as it gets.

4. Rookies: Kyrie Irving is a bonafide all-star. Waiters is a productive starter with upside remaining. But what can we expect from Wiggins, Zeller and Benett? Sure, everyone but Irving is moveable, but is this an organization you can trust to build around you wisely?

5. Legacy: People will have more reasons to scorn Lebron than ever. To question his loyalty, competiveness, greed and championship pedigre. Lebron risks severely damaging his reputation if he underperforms in Cleveland, much less than he would under-performing on other teams.
pretty much entirely wrong. well done.

a) lol Bucher
b) if true, it must have been a very heavily protected 1st
07-06-2014 , 10:12 PM
i wouldve snapped afflalo for barnes straight up, w/o the pick. so a first rounder is icing on the cake. orlando is going to be rebuilding for the next 5 years but the protection would need to be lifted after 2-3 years.

and like bucher mentioned, it makes moving klay for love much easier having afflalo there as an immediate replacement.
07-06-2014 , 10:15 PM
Bucher has not reported a single true thing the past year, so i dont know why ya'll would suddenly start believing him
07-06-2014 , 10:19 PM
he reported that klove to gsw was dead and that klove wouldnt be dealt before the draft.

that's a lot of words when all you needed was 3:

I AM MAAAAAAAD.

Cleveland has replaced Miami as my frontrunner to land LeBron James...

WIPER

On a scale of 1-10,

How mad are you going to be when Labron doesn't sign in Cleveland.
07-06-2014 , 10:30 PM
that said, if lebron completely eviscerated danny g publicly on some, "I would love to come back to cleveland, but as a man I cannot due to danny g. I will force a trade from wherever team I am on the day after he sells the team".

kinda like the joker when he said he'd blow up a hospital every hour until someone killed the guy on the tv show.

losing out on the back half of his prime would be worth it if he fired shots like that... the fans would instantly and completely HATE danny g, all the neurofibromatosis stricken children in the world could save him from the tidal wave of hatred...

let's have that happen.

that's the heaviest "it depends" I've ever been asked.

in what scenario?

going back to Miami: like 2.5/10
07-06-2014 , 10:31 PM
oh, hes a heat fan. that makes sense. lol. mebbe lebron is sick of playing in half filled home arenas. lol market size.
07-06-2014 , 10:33 PM
it's a lot easier knowing that if he doesn't come back, they'll still have WIGGS and while him and kyrie and fatters aren't going to ship a ring, they will be GOD DAMNED FUN to watch.

plus if he only went back for a year or two, he'd help Miami tread water for those 2 years while chewing up all of their cap money so that when he does come back in 2016, that 1st round heat pick is damn bear guaranteed to be top 5
07-06-2014 , 10:33 PM
WIPER FYI I meant to send you a lot more of my thoughts in PM but had a panic attack and stopped to tell you that in this thread.

SO DON'T FREAK OUT
07-06-2014 , 10:35 PM
wow Broussard dropping a bomb. Man just reading that Gilbert letter, he atleast has to apologize right?

also Wiggins for someone established and good would happen
07-06-2014 , 10:35 PM
listen, I know you could go back and find dozens of anti-lebron posts from me starting the night of the decision.

in the end, if he comes back I'll honestly respect him for it.

I'll still think he's a douche, but it's Cleveland...we are DYING for a championship. if him coming back gives us 1 or 2, I am ****ing in.

no, the heat pick would end up being used next season as the heat would certainly make the playoffs. its top 10 protected.

deffff has to apologize, first in person, then literally every time there is a camera on him in a cavs-related capacity.

like, full on groveling.

hell, if I was bron, I'd make him bow to me every time he saw me for a year. full on, down to a 90 degree angle bow to the King.

Thornton only 1yr left on his deal so that doesn't seem hard
