Bosh's camp asking around the league for teams that would offer him a max, several have said they will.

Bucks and Sixers seem like takers for Jeremy Lin.

Would like it for the Bucks if we can sign him long term, if hes just a one year cap-eater, obviously we should get picks with it. I just hope he doesn't eat too many minutes of young guys if he just stays one year

LaBron takes max in Cleveland.

Bosh takes max in Houston.

Dwade retires.

Thoughts?

I mean the guy had like 2.5 major knee injuries before he got out of his teens, that's never a good look but I'd prob have rather gambled on that since he's a potential defensive game changer than... A tweener with sleep apnea? And shoulder surgery? Who put up okay stats against not great competition? I mean it's technically not drawing dead to become something but there's no defending it, that's likely the worst top pick in professional sports history.

Nerlens is just ridiculous. Even hit 2 floaters off the bounce.
07-05-2014 , 01:40 PM
if you're trading for Jeremy Lin to sign him long term, you're doing it wrong

his whole appeal is that he's a huge expiring contract and you're going to get a pick to boot
07-05-2014 , 01:41 PM
Right, but if Bucks can re-sign him after that year I like it a lot better, if you know 100% Lin wants to be in a big market then hopefully we keep him on the bench mostly.

If Houston maxes Bosh, is Parsons gone?

Don't know what you're looking for here bro

Unlikely? Fan Fiction? Someone else (AIM?) will maybe post that it'd be awesome

Wade would never have opted out to retire

nah they can still re-sign Parsons, likely gonna get 4-44 range

If Lin finds a place he likes and sees a future in and you can get him for 3/15 after this deal it's likely solid value as a sixth man for even a good team for the rest of his prime
07-05-2014 , 01:53 PM
My god Dwight bosh parsons harden Beverly is terrifying
07-05-2014 , 01:56 PM
love to GS
bosh to hou
pau to OKC
SA, LAC

thats just an unreal stacked West

I haven't seen any rumors of what the Lin's deal specifics are. I can't imagine teams are willing to take him for pure nothing.

Probably just Lin/future 1st...maybe 2 1sts

Phi is so far under the cap and doesn't appear to be courting FAs

Pacers bringing back Lavoy Allen, look out East.

There aren't any specifics yet, whichever of the Sixers and Bucks is willing to take worse picks will probably get him.

Devin Harris deal all but done to stay with Mavs
07-05-2014 , 02:28 PM
Bosh to houston would be sick. Bev/harden/parsons/bosh/Dwight would be rly good
07-05-2014 , 03:05 PM
Bucks supposedly sticking to rebuild, so I get offerin bled max and I get trying to get assets for Lin, but greivas in the mix? I don't see how he gets more than 3/10 after what Devin Harris got, but it only takes the bucks to be convinced he's the pg of the future or something silly and give him 3/20
07-05-2014 , 03:16 PM
knight-bledsoe-giannis-jabari-LS would be a cool team but unless the offer blows the Suns away I'd think they would match

How can HOU have 3 max players + a 4/44? Everyone else on minimums?

Parsons is a restricted FA and they have his bird rights. You can go over the cap if you have a guys bird rights (can go over for other reasons as well) so as long as they sign him to his long-term deal after signing Bosh it would work.

Where it gets interesting is if they strikeout on Bosh/Melo then they still have that 18-19mill or so to spend before paying Parsons. Once they pay Parsons it gets much tougher to go over the cap.

I probably could've explained that better but thats the crux of it.
