last play of lakers game is just to incredibly perfect. russell runs up with no intention of ever passing or running a play and airballs a terrible shot as clock expires. none other than swaggy p is the one to grab it behind the basket as it lands after clock expires and just spikes the **** out of it

In other news, 45 years old accountant Joe Ingles, is really awesome, I don't know how he can be good on D with his body, but he's a lockdown defender, and he's number 1 in 3pt FG%

Anyone looked into russ defensive rebounding ? I don't get the chance to watch him live much but yesterday he grabbed 17 defensive rebounds out of 33 grabbed in total by the starting unit.

Of course i'm going to go ahead and guessthat you dont triple your rebounding average over the course of a season by out jumping and outWIMing everyone and i get that talking about triple double is cool but there must be some serious stat whoring in there. Coming from the thread that use to blame klove consistently for it i'm a bit surprised it's not being talked about more

K-Love was a big his job was to contest shots, grab boards and box out, he often went for the board without defending or boxing out. That was bad

Russell, doesn't need to box out. As long as his bigs are fine with boxing out and leaving him the rebound he doesn't hurt the team doing this. He does think more about the rebound sometimes rather than defending on his man though

Nobody is watching, but Noah is playing by far his best game of the season. Like he's playing so well if he somehow was able to replicate a version of this nightly he'd be a positive contract. He's been a monster on the glass, he hasn't missed a defensive rotation. I can't explain it, he's been our best player.

Knicks are likely >50% to re-sign DRose this off-season.

Basically it's going to be the problem with who else will be there at PG when CP3 stays with the Clippers.

So they'll settle by keeping DRose.
