Love is drawing dead. If it looked like Love could possibly MVP, Lebron would freeze him out for sure. It's about Lebron's legacy.

I believe this series is tough as hell to predict. So many factors from both teams, no result would shock me. I even think a Warriors sweep has equity.
I can buy that. Sweep has some equity. Or maybe a close game 4 win by Cle where they get every call, followed by a 22 point loss in game 5.

GS has a ton of upside if they are clicking.

I think Cavs might even have a better shot at sweeping than the Warriors, if someone want's to make a sweep only bet with me that reflects current odds

ETA I'll do 3 to 1

I'd probably do this at 3 to 1 for up to $1K (so $3K to you if Cavs sweep).

LeBron guarding Green to blow up the curry/ green pnr is the most important match-up of the series imo

People don't always vote for what (they think) is most likely. Sometimes voting for the less chosen options is better because when you get it right, it's more special since only a handful of people voted for it.

Lol, nice job with the worst post of the thread so far.

Ya, it's totally 0% that one of the best and most clutch players of all time wins a game 7

Booked. $1500 to you if Cavs sweep. $500 to me if Dubs sweep.

I'm good for it. As you can see, I've been around these parts for as long as you have. Good luck.

Dubs in 7 or Cavs in 6 are the two most likely outcomes.

It's amazing that given how much I hated GS during the OKC series that I'll be able to root for them so hard in this series. That's how unbearable SE LeBron slurpers are. Warriors in 5 hopefully 4.

Thoughts:

1. If the Warriors end up losing, they will have lost as many games during this year's playoffs as they did in the entire regular season. They will need a sweep just to match their last year's playoff record of 16-5.

2. One thing that hasn't been talked about as much is that Curry is much worse statistically in the playoffs over a reasonable sample size. On the contrary, Lebron's decline over the past few years has been mostly confined to the regular season and there's not a lot of indication that he's not peak Lebron during the playoffs. Part of the issue may be that Curry's value is dependent on shooting, which does not depend on effort and may suffer a bit from fatigue, intensity and extra minutes. Lebron, and to a lesser extent the rest of the Cavs are definitely not trying as hard during the regular season. I have no idea how much of this is consciously designed to ensure that the team peaks at the right time and and how much of this is just having trouble being fully engaged in low-leverage situations after all these playoff games.

3. I mentioned this, I think, before the playoffs but this year's Warriors don't seem really any better than last year's - they are simply not as balanced or as deep and need much more from Curry/Green/Klay to win. Their pythagorean was the same as last year's despite them playing their big three a lot more minutes and the western conference being much worse than last year. It's easy to create a narrative that beating the Thunder was a major accomplishment - and it definitely is relative to their other playoff series wins - but they were outscored in the series by the Thunder, who in turn were outscored by the Spurs. The Cavs on the other hand outscored the Raptors - who had a better regular season record than the Thunder - by over 15 points a game.

4. The Warriors' net rating during the regular season was 10.7 and the Cavs' was 6.4. This is a pretty big gap as far as the finals are concerned. But the Cavs have been so much better than the Warriors during the playoffs that simply adding the playoff #s (weighted by games played) narrows the gap by 2 points - 9.8 vs 7.5.
