I'm holding out hope that LeBron goes for something like 65 in G7 and then in the postgame interview all he says is, "I hooked up with Steph's mom."

Hint, if little Lebron Jr doesn't get a D1 offer, he'll still be a child of privilege, as will the kid of every other guy on both teams making more than league minimum.
Maybe they were privileged growing up, but you make it sound like they somehow owe their success in the NBA to their families. This is professional sports, not little league baseball where you get to start because your dad is the coach or has a lot of money.

One thing I can predict is that someone will develop losers limp at some point in the fourth quarter. Iggy seems like the best bet since he has an injury to fall back on.

I think Warriors are a team and pretty great too no?

Jordan and Kobe gonna be rooting for Steph because they like dudes like them. Baby-faced assassin pointing at someone saying "i'm coming" when he got ejected.

Part of me gets the petulant child with the throwing of the mouthpiece but another part(bigger part) feels like it was badass. Steph bringing the fire!

There is nothing badass about throwing your mouthpiece and arguing with a ref.

And wrt Jordan what I meant was which is he most afraid of happening, Lebron getting another title or a team that went 73-9 dethroning his.

I think Jordan would way prefer LBJ win this one. 73-9 is objectively less meaningful than his 72-10 if they don't ship. LBJ would still be what, "3 for 7"?

I disagree. He did it with fire. It wasn't a panzy-ass whine but a "F you, you been f'ing me the whole game i had enough of your B.S.! And here's my mouthpiece eat it!!!!"

I now see what you're saying now wrt Jordan's dilemma for who to root for.

p.s. DannyOcean, Glad you like the Fredo post. Appreciate you putting our differences aside. Sorry for the drama in other thread.

Maybe it's in the air - the redemption theme. I'm thinking Peyton after a career of abuse walks with another title plus going 3-1 versus Brady in CC (isn't that right??), okay I'm stretching some but ... Djokovic winning French ... Who else we got lately on ultimate "I rest my case" redemption??

If DJ wins US Open tomorrow I'm taking Cavs tomorrow night. Ha! The way I'm picking it's good as anything. Oh, or Garcia or Westwood either one too, that's even bigger redemption than DJ.

My injury bug allusion isn't doing too bad, though. Bogut and Iggy ... if one of the big two go lame tomorrow its abuse time. Then we'll see Dray get suspended for a couple of weeks next season maybe with some bush league antics late.

But what kind of redemption is that for James if he wins it tomorrow night? After all the crap he's been given, everybody is standing there with their dick in their hand saying, "He only has 3 titles, 7 finals, four MVPs, 27,000 points, 7,000 rebounds, 7,000 assists, 31 years old" ... LOL.

I don't think he can do it, James, answer it all that ultimatiely once and for all. If he does all those haterz gotta be killin' themselves straightaway because they're not worthy of oxygen thanks.

Throwing a mouthpiece at someone is a beta way of spitting on them, and so is a pathetic way of doing some reprehensible and pathetic. Anyway, nobody with stones is thinking "you been ****ing me the whole game".

In fairness to Steph he wasn't actually trying to hit anyone when he threw the mouthpiece. I was kidding about the eat it. He certainly wasn't spitting on anyone so to speak or trying to hurt someone. It was wildy thrown in anger/frustration of the circumstances. He did apologize to the owner's kid he did hit. When i say it badass i don't mean because he caused violence or degradation as that's not what he was doing. I mean because he showed passion and fire showing how much he wants this. I'd prefer him not to have thrown the mouthpiece and just show the fire but when you're passionate in the heat of the moment sometimes you can't control what comes out(like Draymond). As a fan i love when my teams players show me they care and not just out there for the paycheck. Kerr loved it too.
