Good, makes my pick super easy. Was on the fence for Conley. I'm taking
Danilo Gallinari.
Blake Griffin is 25 years old. Danilo Gallinari is also 25. Gallo just sat out last year, rehabbing his knee; he should be better than ever. When I see some "2-way" wings get taken, like Chandler Parsons (wtf?) ahead of Gallo, I get sad. Basically, my thoughts are:
1. Gallo is a perfect 2nd option/complementary scorer to Blake. He's capable of passing, but more importantly he's a super long range threat who is very low turnover. He's a clear 3 who will adequately space the floor while also capable of hitting super clutch shots.
2. RPM, APM, match up data, and so on have consistently rated him as a positive to strong defender. His STOCKS are fine for a wing, plus he has the height that allows him to small-ball 4 if I need to, for lineup flexibility.
3. ROOSTER
