Tay's defense isn't elite anymore. It can still be pretty good I'm sure, but he hasn't looked very good this year coming off a back injury. Definitely a question mark, imo.

people put WAY too much stock on how a player plays coming off an injury some injuries linger for much longer than people realize+playing into bball shapre+being rusty etc

I don't see any clear BPA, I mean I could go with an offensive minded player who is a better overall player but he wouldnt make my team better. my offense doesn't need a 4th shot creator when i have 3 elite/near elite ones already over an elite defender who can also help my offense by being able to hit 3s. Don't see a better defensive option who also can provide good floor spacing on offense from the SG/SF spot than Battier unless i'm missing someone

It's not just that with Prince. His defense hasn't been elite for a few years now. He was always valuable because he played great defense and was solid at everything else. If his defense is just good to solid, he's a pretty average player.

Kind of interesting that C-Vig has ZBo and Oden down low. When POR found out they were going to be able to pick Oden they snap-shipped ZBo for Channing Frye and Steve Francis and immediately bought out Stevie Franchise. It was a clear get the **** out of here ZBo, before you have any influence on Oden. This draft doesn't account for inviting fellow players to get stoned, pack heat, ask to be excused for a game because of a family funeral then go to a strip club, and drag race in downtown Portland at 4am though.

I didn't know Z-Bo Clintoned a stripper, not surprised at all though. Some of the stuff you'd hear about him and whatever he called his posse tooling around at all hours of the night on ATVs out at his house were pretty good.

Whatever, I've been on the Yao's never gonna play again or will be severely limited bandwagon from the start and that should actually be taken as good news for the Yao camp. I'd actually be more worried if he said he was playing because that would likely signal that he's rushing back due to national pressure.
