Suns and Magic fan here - wanted the Magic to get M. Smart but he dropped out, so now I'm hoping McLemore. For the Suns, Len, Oladipo, or Bennett are all fine with me.

Hornets would love Len or Burke from what I hear. They'd prefer to play Davis at PF full-time, and Lopez is a stiff pretty much.

Len is the only one of the top guys I haven't really formed an opinion on. He's big. I dunno.

injury-free len = boss. a young, maybe more athletic zydrunas?

yes, tremeeendous size.

foot injury is a major concern though. can really hurt his obvious upside, which is one of his primary assets.

without the injury, i think he is a viable #1 in this particular draft.

7 feet tall, can run, has some touch, and not a total stiff athletically = top 10 pick

anyways I doubt Cavs end up drafting at 19. Too many assets to not move up to 12-15 range
Cavs promising Karasev would make sense based on Waiters and their need at SF. If they can get him at 19 they can then try to get some cheap rotation players with #31 and #33.

not arguing that it makes sense from a Cavs roster standpoint, just heard that he received a promise from the Bucks...just a rumor though

also no way cavs draft 4 players...likely 2 players (#1 and #10-14) or draft 2 first rounders and 1 foreign stash then trade or sell 4th pick (or 3rd)

Yeah, ive been watching a lot of karasev, and again, i just dont see it.

Dude has a set shot at 19.....no athleticism.....i thought he was actually decent off the dribble.

Looks like a second rounder to me.

the latest DX mock is sheer lunacy. don't understand why anybody would take larkin 13th, seems like a lock to be abused defensively and he just doesn't have enough offensive value to justify a pick that high.

also chad ford has been saying that analytics people believe mcw is > burke. i'd love to see those analytics because that makes zero sense to me. wouldn't be surprised if $ecret $tats said mcw is a stud defender but i mean burke is so so so much better as an offensive player and younger and smarter and more clutch that it just feels wrong to put them in the same neighborhood.

i also don't understand why people seem so unsold on burke. the guy seems to have a great floor and ceiling.

we've been pitching oladipo as a super tony allen but at a closer look i'm really not sure he's necessarily a better prospect. feel like he's getting overrated due to running superhot on a SSS of 3's, regress that to whatever the mean is and his junior year looks v similar to TA's senior season. feels like he'll be a better offensive player as a pro due to higher bbiq but doesn't feel like he'll be a positive on that end nevertheless. he turns it over a ton and i'm not sure he can do anything in the halfcourt.

kcp just feels sexy yo. the guy gets buckets and has decent defensive upside. since he can score both off the dribble and catch and shoot he can fit into any offense and the man grasps that it's better to get 3 points than 2.

burke overrated.

bilas is high on him but he is actually normally wrong. he has a horrible eye for talent. i remember when jay bilas slammed smoove on draft day and then he turned out pretty good.

burke does not have the capability to be an all-star, mcw does.

specifically, i like how mcw's body type is perfectly conducive for lane penetration, like kobe when he first came into the league. obv not that type of explosive athlete, but his off-the-dribble skill level is very high, like burke's is. and he will be pass first.

his shot will come around at some point. he has good form. not like rondo or anything.. good form, just needs reps.

ofc, there are a number of things about mcw that are concerns. for one, his wingspan is not that great for his size, yet his standing reach is very good.

this indicates he's a lightweight. no real girth in that chest. probably the biggest problem i see with him. his core strength is probably very poor and i've seen this relegate good athletes to the bench. he should work on that more anything else; work on his shot second, because his shot will improve with his core strength.

right, cavs will package to move up or trade those 2nd rounders for picks in other years. they will get 2 players this draft for sure.

Really like this list, especially top 5. Were Len not injured (and he is so can't discount it) I'd think he'd be pretty tough to pass in the top 3 ... he looks like at minimum he'd be a defensive factor in the league, can get out to snuff a pick and roll, can move and has offensive upside. Burke just has a feel for the point. I don't think he's Paul but there's a lot of room b/t Paul most other guys that Burke can fall into ... that assist to TO rate is beastly and I'd take a shot on something like that in this draft. I like Adams, maybe not as high as six, but I think he's being slept on. KCP also in a good spot IMO, he's closer to the top 2 SGs than currently projected.

Too low, IMO: Bennett (I don't often like tweeners, but he's such a tremendous finisher at the basket and has good shooting range for a big); Withey (defensive center, only a role player but should be a good one), Bullock (seems like a great bet to end up as a 3&D rotation guy); MCW (Think he should go top 10).

Dieng, Bullock and Withey as role players I like somewhere thereafter. Not big on Larkin or McCollum at all. I’d take a shot on Bazz probably at some point but not really expecting much. Gobert will be a worthwhile shot for somebody just based on upside.
