shouldn't calling a timeout without one be a tech?

bulls basically lost this game for me when rose took an awful 3-pointer with just under 60 secs left

getting the free timeout is a real issue but seeing as noah fouled lebron anyway can't really complain

LeBron is lucky he didn't get a flagrant 1 for ripping his elbow through dunleavys throat on that late offensive foul. Cavs far and away being favored by the refs for the series. Bron going 10/30 with 8 turnovers and having to hit a miracle at the end isnt the sign of a dominant team. Bulls down an all star who will be back next game, let's see how serious brons ankle is.

anyway, the bulls still got this. irving aint getting any better. lebrons ankle will swell up and bother him. we've seen that before. shump has some mystery injury that causes him to limp up and down the court.

bulls need Pau back pretty badly. Rose had 30 and they scored 84pts. Just tough to ask Butler to putup big offensive #s with the LeBron duties.

I think the usual setup in the NBA is that the head coach delegates tasks like keeping track of timeouts to an assistant. It was likely someone's job to remind Blatt that the Cavs were out of timeouts. Probably someone thought a minute prior that there was no way the Cavs would be in a position where it mattered and got lazy about it.
