Their frontcourts accumulate more blocks than they should.

I'm trying to think of the last Curry-type to have success in the NBA(small college superstar shooter). Szcerbiak kinda fits, but Wally is a lot bigger and was a lot more athletic coming out of college.

Curry's best case is that he'll be a Redd or Allen type SG, but those were power-conference guys who played for extremely successful teams(and Redd, obviously, wasn't much of a prospect at draft time).

Skillset wise, I see a lot of Trajan Langdon in the boy.

Well tbh, Chauncey was kind of a Curry-type player that became a point guard who can play D. He's the exception, not the rule imo.

I'm too young to have known chauncey in his early days to know if he was much smaller then but doesn't Curry give up like 15 pounds in that comparison?

Nothing a little hgh won't fix amirite

Every time I participate in an NBA discussion outside of this thread, I regret it immediately, and long for the sweet succor of this thread's collective intelligence.

Meh, that's just arrogance on our part. Once the NBA eliminates the point system and instead institutes a system in which players are rewarded for being clutch, having heart, and possesing killer instinct, well then people in this thread will be severely outclassed. I watch Kobe videos on youtube to keep my mind sharp for the inevitable changes.

this whole thing about the Lakers not caring if they win a championship makes me want to gather up a bunch of sportswriters and set them on fire

doubt hot fat air burns well though

Not enough typos IMO.

This is not even a question. I'll be rooting harder tonight for the Wiz to get #2 than I have rooted on any NBA team all year(since the Wiz have sucked, I havn't really cared too much).
05-19-2009 , 02:57 PM
Assani what chance do the Wiz have at the 2?

BTW, you know who would be an even better fit for the Lakers? Chris Paul. CP3/Vujacic/Ariza/Bynum/Gasol would be a lethal starting lineup. CP3 might actually average 15 APG with all those scorers around him. Too bad Kobe has that no-trade clause, if the Lakers could trade say Kobe and a 1st rounder for CP3, I think it would have to make them the favorites to win the title next year.

Also, the Lakers are so young aside from Kobe, that if they could get a superstar under the age of say 28, they could build a huge long-term dynasty.
Billups would be a better fit in the triangle than CP3 imo
